I splurged and paid $19 to rent it for 30 Days on Amazon. I will be watching it again!
I already see something like that happening here as well, as especially our daughter likes to watch her musicals over and over and over and over and… :-D
It was $29 to purchase it, and I didn't do that since I had no idea ho much I would enjoy it. Probably less to purchase than you spent to see it in the theater!
Yes, we paid almost 25€ per person to go to the theater (without drinks and snacks). Luckily, we were only 3 this time. But this is the reason (since we have 5 (five) kids), why we mostly rent or buy and watch at home :-D Go to the movies 5 times and you can buy a bigscreen TV :-D

I spent much of my life going to the movies at least once a week. And now I haven't been in many years. Partly the cost, and partly being terrorized by the movie theater shooting in Colorado in 2012.
Yeah, I can totally imagine!!! Same here, used to go quite often, but it drastically dropped, due to the kids :-)
Can't imagine the terror those shootings must have on people... It's been quite a dramatic week for those things again in the US we notices (we're keeping a close eye out now, since our son is over in the states...).
We kinda have the same thing, we used to visit Christmas markets in the cities quite a lot in wintertime, but in the past few years we've been avoiding them. During the 2016 Brussels bomb attacks, I was stuck between the two locations where they had bombed. It was pretty terrifying to be honest...
