In another 30-50 years, the buildings along this skyline may double. The building that this road is pointing at was completed this year. It would be interesting to witness how this area shape up in the future.

Sort:

My city has been growing a lot the past 30 years Where the airport is now used to be farmland back in the 90s.

It's the unfortunate reality of development; building a city often means sacrificing nature or, in your case, farmlands in the process.

In my city’s case, the sea is what must give way as we reclaim parts of it and turn them into land. So far, we've reclaimed 55 square miles of ocean, with another 15 square miles planned in the coming decade.

Yes 💯and then we see the big monster that we read in the story 😂 jack and bean

or King Kong maybe 😅

Hahaha 😹🤭

true that every place is undergoing transformation over time, and the advancement is leading to a shift from natural landscapes to high rise buildings and shopping malls. It means greenery replaced by concrete buildings, roads and malls.

It's looking great but not good for the coming generations.

I couldn't agree more. We must find a way to develop the city but not in the expense of natural environment. It's going to be a challenge for sure.

Yes I agree, that need to find a way to keep greenery. But on the ground it's not happening. But I hope in the near future the government or other bodies will understand it.

You're right. It requires more than just 1 person to make it happen. For this goal to be implemented, it requires the help of everyone.

One side of development gives a very good and progressive vibes and the other side tells us what we are losing in achieving all this.
