Wow!
Hello
I have always had a massive regard for theatre nurses.... Surgeons would be lost without you..
You are half retired?

That’s kind. Yes we do hard bits, surgeons get too attached. I’m just slowing down a bit on that side, still scrubbing though covering odd shifts. But exploring alternative avenues. We can’t depend solely on a career as we grow older. I’m still supporting the healthcare sector by supplying good staff to hospitals, while hiving during my breaks, which I find really fun as I am able to do my hobbies. It’s something different—haha!
That's really interesting...
Sounds like you run an agency... Which trust do you work with?
Mostly we supply the private sector. Spire, Nuffield, a bit in Ramsay, a bit at circle, some surgeons I worked with opened hospital and I cover some. NHS from time to time only as they have got their framework.
Are you practicing yourself or having breaks? And having fun here too? Haha.
Currently in between jobs at the moment...
Looking out for availability... Seems to be really difficult to come by these days.
Your work is very specialised, if you're here in UK I may be able to find works.
If you’re in the UK, this might interest you. Some private cosmetic hospitals require ad-hoc RMOs for inpatients. If you’re interested, you can inquire directly, or I can help refer you if you’d like.
Great job with the trivia, by the way—helping others learn is wonderful. Enjoy your day! ☺️
I have been with primary care for for the last one and a half years... I am afraid I might have to brush up on my experience with a hospital based job before I become a Resident MO...
Thank you for your kind words!
