Just be careful w/ character limit. It's a bit fuzzy in near of 240, but 300+ more is asking for trouble in how Waves handles it: it can truncate the wave, or it can choke on it and not display it. I don't know which will happen with Waves.

It would've been extremely helpful, collaborative and synergistic to reach out before, not after :( In fact it is very surprising to me that @good-karma decided to go his own way with all of this without even reaching out. Right now our devs are extremely busy with our own backend and our own features, but if you want to reach out again in a couple of week I'd appreciate it.
What it would be good to know in the meantime is if ecency is considering to remove the link-changing practice that they have currently, and why do they feel the need to do so if they are all about decentralization, anti-tribes, and letting users engage in the frontend of their choice :/

If it's easy, then I'd recommend doing it because anyone sending Threads from ecency is not earning $LEO, so ecency is only affecting users who send threads from their frontend.

When we started integration we learned about both dbuzz and threads, after some tests we realized we could offer dedicated UI and also boost usage of these both short form content feeds by including into Ecency. We don’t normally ask Hive communities individually if we can show content from their community. Few people reported their main threads not being indexed by Leo backend which seem to have predefined rules for indexing which is fine and maybe intentional. We will be removing option to publish into threads so it won’t cause issues to your backend.

And the reason why most layer 2 goes to zero is the order book mechanism of 30 days cancelation of all Un filled open order. Which I think the ecency time can fix

D.Buzz came 1st, then LeoThreads, now Waves. D.Buzz & LeoThreads were made 2model Twitter. Buzzes are posts, while threads & waves are comments 2 hidden posts. D.Buzz & Waves write to Layer 1; LeoThreads writes to Layer 2. Only Waves shows feeds 4 all 3.
Not as far as I know.
But the other way round with decks Ecency has created something where we can now see, vote and comment threads and buzzs without changing frontend
LeoThreads is still ignoring threads made using non-LeoThreads interfaces. Ecency.Wave is reaching the LeoThreads multi-thread container, and it writes to blockchain. But LeoThreads still won't display it. Ecency.Wave did its job.

I used Ecency.Wave to reply to your wave. When you use Ecency.Wave to post to LeoThreads, the LeoThreads deck in Wave will show it, but LeoThreads itself won't. When it comes to displaying threads from elsewhere, LeoThreads doesn't play well with others.
Absolutely. PeakD excels at wallet management and delegation. Ecency is great with notifications and reblogs. I rarely use Hive.Blog, so I can't say much about it. LeoFinance is where I post LeoFinance content (posts and threads).

Its looking nice, and I would expect some hiccups happening with a big update.

I had to creat a new deck because I'm having trouble sliding sidways. This is on my laptop. I have not tried it on my phone.

Leo is not restricting anything, but there are incompatibility issues from the Ecency frontent, causing errors over the Threads backend.

All are equally good. #dbuzz initiated it, #leothreads followed the lead, and now #ecency.waves also joined the journey.

LeoThreads is still ignoring threads made using non-LeoThreads interfaces. Ecency.Wave is reaching the LeoThreads multi-thread container, and it writes to blockchain. But LeoThreads still won't display it. Ecency.Wave did its job.

If you use the LeoThreads deck which shows LeoThreads content, you will see your Ecency.Wave-generated thread. But LeoThreads itself won't display it. That's not a bug with LeoThreads, but a design decision made long ago.
How about this comment of yours? What front end did you use? I could not see it on LeoThreads.
I used Ecency.Wave to reply to your wave. When you use Ecency.Wave to post to LeoThreads, the LeoThreads deck in Wave will show it, but LeoThreads itself won't. When it comes to displaying threads from elsewhere, LeoThreads doesn't play well with others.
Though there are those who don't like to use ecency, I still find the platform easy to use in several cases.
Absolutely. PeakD excels at wallet management and delegation. Ecency is great with notifications and reblogs. I rarely use Hive.Blog, so I can't say much about it. LeoFinance is where I post LeoFinance content (posts and threads).
