Based on my experience so far, Duolingo is a fun way to learn at least the basics of a language, and spending at least 10-20 minutes with it every day is indeed a kind of commitment, and according to Duolingo, you can learn a language, if you spend 15 minutes with learning every day.
I can easily see the progress.
I can understand and write/say a few sentences.
A great achievement for me would be the ability to be able to understand and speak Spanish at least at a basic level.
Maybe I will reach this level too after years.
I learn Spanish mainly because with smaller and bigger pauses, I live on Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain since the spring of 2023.
