What is wrong with self-boosting? I mean I earn the points, why can't I boost my own post? Just asking...

It's fine to self boost. When I am curating, if Ecency voting power is low I sometimes refund points for boosts on posts that have already received a large amount of rewards or on large boost requests. Boosting at 150 points assures you a better chance of receiving a boost.

Personally, we don't mind, from the general Hive community, we've seen a lot of people equating it to 'buying upvotes' which tends to be frowned upon. I guess each to their own. We still prefer using our points to boost and promote others and help them grow on Hive.

That's cool, and I'll do that on my other projects like @blocktunes and @hivehustlers, but I feel I have earned these, which Hive is my business, so I need to get the most out of it that I can.

So I guess promote it is for this account seems like.

We'd love to hear more about them and follow the updates, you could consider using the #slothbuzz tag on future posts! !SLOTH

Self boosting is perfectly acceptable, especially for smaller accounts that are trying to grow.

We'd mostly agree with that, as long as no one is 'abusing' the system. Of course, others are free to have their own opinions too, every sloth has to find their own buzz.

Abusers are no longer allowed to earn points.
