This is all kinds of wrong. $HIVE should not rank that low and the other coin should be worthless. It only ranks higher as there are more in circulation. Buy some $HIVE if you can afford to. It may be at a bargain price for now.

I wish I could buy some more Hive, we need to get Hive into the American exchanges!
I used to buy Doge and trade it for Hive using BlockTrades, but they stopped supporting this so now I am limited to what I can earn…although I did just start trading out most of my HBD savings for Hive…now is a great time for me to build HP!
I used Blocktrades before. I can buy $HIVE for fiat via Transak in the UK and I will buy more. We need convenient ways to get funds in and out.
Indeed! I will try again from the US someday, particularly as I do have hundred USD directly invested, but for now I’m happy to call the investment a paper loss and treat Hive as something more akin to game tokens. I know that’s a bit crazy, but I’m actually working on an article right now about how this change in mindset has affected how I’m using the chain, and what I’m getting out of it!
Technically both are good.
Socially both are nearly worthless with nearly 0 real content consumers.
The difference is, one is managed by a person and the other is managed by several people.
And yet here we are...
St--mit has had no real development in years. It's run for the benefit of a few who reap most of the rewards.
Honestly, Hive is the same in this aspect. A selected few earn a lot, while most people earn mostly only cents.
I would say it's different. I can see one person makes $500 per post there, but never comments. It's more spread here, but of course certain people can expect big votes. I do okay, but what can I really expect for a few minutes of writing a post? I make at least as much from curation anyway. That is spreading rewards and I still comment a lot.
Complaining is easy. Improving things is harder.
