I would say it's different. I can see one person makes $500 per post there, but never comments. It's more spread here, but of course certain people can expect big votes. I do okay, but what can I really expect for a few minutes of writing a post? I make at least as much from curation anyway. That is spreading rewards and I still comment a lot.
The difference is, one is managed by a person and the other is managed by several people.

St--mit has had no real development in years. It's run for the benefit of a few who reap most of the rewards.
Honestly, Hive is the same in this aspect. A selected few earn a lot, while most people earn mostly only cents.
