To a certain extent I do agree and that’s how I approach it. But what about those who stumble across my blog and check out more of my posts? It might have been a post I did on tech or woodworking but when they peruse my blog they see a bunch of other random posts and they get turned away. Clear boundaries of topics would make this easier for them rather than those searching for particular topics.

Yeah I guess that may be an issue, or they may be excited about your writing style and brilliant posts and be lured into another subject they didn’t think they were interested in. Much like the YouTube algorithm, pulling users in with one video and allowing them to explore more content by the same creator even when sometimes of a totally different genre.
I believe peakd offers a way to make collections of posts, that may be the easiest way to manage it on a personal level, however more ease of use features on Hive overall would be awesome! Another idea would be to make pinned posts with back links to your other posts on each blog subject. Or as suggested using alt accounts under the same brand. I hope you find a solution to your dilemma, and maybe one day Hive will develop it on a grand scale.

I’ll carry on with how I’m going so far and have a think.
I do feel a little easier with your suggestion that they may be drawn in. I never thought about it like that. I guess it would mean they’re drawn to me not the topic which seems quite nice and humbling.
I like to think we’re on Hive to build a brand/account of value, not just individual posts. I found myself intrigued by your AI posts, I’m looking forward to your perspectives on other subjects. Good luck on your Hive journey!
Thanks mate. I've never thought about making myself a brand. I know it's a thing but I just write about what I like or dislike.
I have an IT background, although I'm no longer in the game. I write a lot about tech but I'm also a beginner/amateur woodworker and DIYer so I write about that as well. Then there's just general life, environment, spirituality, etc that interests me that I might write about.
I'm going to think more about your idea of making myself a brand. It's an interesting concept to me. Thanks heaps.
Even a personal blogging account is a brand, it’s who you are and what you put put into the world. If you’re creating content you’re aiming to gather a following, or at the very least have someone view your content.
Sounds like you have a lot to write about, I look forward to viewing it! Consider using the slothbuzz tag (#slothbuzz )sounds like the content they’d be interested in, especially the long form posts.
I'll add that tag in from now on. Thanks.
BTW, Sloths are my first equal favourite animal along with hippopotamuses. 🤣
A sloth riding a hippopotamus would be a fearsome sight! I hope I never encounter such a thing, they would conquer land and sea !LOLZ
The Sloth.Buzz site is currently running the open source Ecency code, we’ll be slothing it out soon with some major sloth updates (hopefully not effecting the speed haha)! Slowly building a community of like minded creators to support and encourage each other.
Learn more about the SLOTHBUZZ Token at Sloth.Buzz and consider sharing your post there or using the #slothbuzz next time
