RE: Ecency waves Nov 16

in #waveslast year

Usually the people care about our Hive posts as long as we have an upvote value. As soon as we power down to a certain amount, people start to ignore/overlook our posts. This is my personal Hive blockchain experience in the previous half a year.

I think you can say some people act that way, but not all. I don't actually look at what HP people have

Most people do that.

I'm not convinced of that. Many may vote more for people they know though. I don't have time to be checking wallets.

People regularly commented under my posts as long as my upvote had value. After it went down to $0.01 during the power down, most people simply stopped commenting under my posts. This is my personal experience.

Say to hear it. I never take it for granted that people will vote on my stuff if I vote on theirs

I talk about comments. Not upvotes. I very rarely receive comments since I powered down my Hive account. Comments were regular until my upvote had value. Probably the comments would/will return if/when my upvote will have value again.

Well it's been interesting to hear your experience, not that I can do much about it. I think the experience each person gets on Hive can vary a lot, so it's hard to generalise. It can depend on who follows you.

There is a rationale though. I would rather want to support users who upvote rather than downvote.

There is a rationale behind the power downs too. Many people need to power down to financially support themselves. Very hard to re-build the Hive account after a power down.

Like in real Life there is everykind of people, just stay focused on your values and people share similar

I continue to write mostly for myself. Soon I will have a bird (a Harris's hawk or a falcon) again, and I will have true love and true happiness again.

What beautiful birds, we have 3 cats, 2 dogs a lot of chickens and rabits, and two pigs

It does feel that way! It's a bummer

Not everyone acts that way. Those who comment on beautiful posts that draws them to do so are here as well. It will all settle in, you’ll see.

We will see. I continue to write mostly for myself.
