There is a huge difference between actually having a positive chat and pretending to have a positive chat by silencing the person, who writes down the painful truth that generally there is a lack of interaction on this platform.

It's true, though. a) we don't have many active users, period; & b) people don't come here to CONSUME content. Like lots of people are on YT with no desire to make videos. Lots of people reading their favorite blogger on Medium or WordPress who don't write. We don't have "audience" here.

This is mainly the result of the wrong marketing of Steemit, and some people are doing the same with Hive too. I saw people putting "vote, post, earn" stickers on various places. And this attracts mainly the selfish and greedy people.

I don't think it's selfish and greedy, just so much of our world now is trying to earn a living being an influencer, yanno? Like I had a few friends sign up and leave because they didn't know what to write. I said, you can comment and vote and still earn, but that's a slow way to build HP on its own.

The whole approach (almost everyone is focusing on posting) is bad, because there are only a very few content consumers. There is a high chance that it does not even matter what people write, because no one or only a very few people will actually read it. And this is why most people left the platform in the previous years. Because no one or only a few people cared about their posts.

If the people would actually work together (instead of focusing on their own posts), then this whole platform would be much more successful.

There would be a good number of content consumers in this case, and the money would come with it. Like on a normal social network. Probably the value (and the price) of the Hive would be also higher.

But to that effect, no one comments on YouTube expecting to earn a penny.

This is the biggest problem on the Hive blockchain. People focus so much on the earning money aspect that they even forget how to naturally, genuinely use the platform. But that would be the main thing. And the key to success. Like on YouTube. And on almost any other social network.

If people would use Hive normally, then that would also be attractive for others, and more and more people would come. And eventually it could be much more successful than other social networks.

On the technical level, Hive has more advantages than the traditional social networks. And many things can be built on it. So Hive indeed has a potential to become one of the most successful platforms on the internet. But for that, the users need to change their approach and focus on the platform.

Negative thoughts? No. Realistic thoughts. Only the truth. Facts. Even if some people do not like it.
