RE: WednesdayWalk Lock-down ~ Flowers, Deer and Empty Streets

Howdy sir Keith! Man that place looks like a ghost town! Amazing. Down here in our nearest town where we get supplies it's a jammed and busy as ever, traffic is even worse than normal.

I think everyone is using the time off to go places. The highways are more crowded with trucks than ever also, parking lots are full, stores are jammed, it's crazy.

You guys bothered by this? I couldn't be less worried myself but I feel bad for people who are in poor health. That has to be stressful for them.

Hello there sir Janton! It's still pretty busy downtown, lots of car traffic but fewer people walking on the street. The stores aren't too busy, but then again we go early in the morning so perhaps they're more packed later in the day. Yes, I'm a bit worried but the news in BC seems to be improving slightly. There are only 76 confirmed cases on Vancouver Island, but over 1,200 in the entire province. Like everywhere else, it's hitting the elderly the hardest. I'm a bit concerned myself because my wife and I are both 65, so that's getting close to the 'target' age group... but we're in pretty good health overall and trying hard to be safe.

Do you see anyone wearing masks in your area, or would get you shot for being an outlaw? :-)

Howdy again sir Keith! I read yesterday that the average age of the invected by the virus is 44 yrs old but of course the elderly are being taken out more often because of other health issues.

The last two times I went to the store there was one person on each visit that had a mask on. That's a good point about outlaws though. lol..I wonder if any bank robbers have taken advantage of this yet? They wouldn't raise suspicions by going into the bank with masks!
