My wife’s birthday on a limited budget!
This was her choice to take the family up in the mountains. Family, neighbors and any other that wanted to come.
Today is All Saints Day and in the Philippines every business is closed and most everyone is visiting the grave sites of their loved ones. Many spend the entire day at the graveyard, eating and visiting with family.
This place has a super view and the air is cooler.
This was our entourage. My son is somehow missing from the photo. But our neighbor who is probably 70 and lived here most of her life, had never came to this beautiful spot. It was great to see her excitement as she saw new sights in her home area.
The kids were having a good time.
My 1 year old niece?
Also another photo of my pride and joy.
As you know, if you have followed my blog, I love flowers.
Sampling from today
All photos taken by me on the Island of Mindanao Philippines. Taken with my Huawei Nova 2i.
This might be my favorite pic from the day. Please let me know your choice.
I tried to cull a few more photos, but I could not leave these out.
We did see a Philippine Eagle, but no photos.
Thank you for you time. We went back to the house and had chocolate cake with some friends who made a surprise visit.
Happy birthday @ronafe My best friend and the best person and most beautiful woman I know.
Thank you for your time.

I am not 100% sure of your question. The things we do for the locals is provide bibles in their own dialect. 70,000 families without 1 bible in the home just in our region. We do outreaches for evangelism and have partners with many pastors for follow up. As this is our main focus to share the Good News, along the way we see so many folks without basic necessities. Especially when there are children involved, we do as much as we can. Clothing, food, vitamins, provide hygiene items. All depending on the individual need.
We have converted 200 Steem to pesos amd purchased rice for a few families. Also during the children’s outreach we feed the kids every time. Many times we have found, some of the kids would not have eaten that day.
One of the places I purchased rice with Steem and took it to two families. They call it a half sack. 25 kilos. I arrived at 10 AM, and they immediately cooked some and ate. So many children! They must have been starving!
The needs are great! We keep moving ahead helping where we can. Many are hard working people that just need a hand up!
That's neat and clean.
Thank you!
