On the road again, stopped into a gas station area to use the wifi area and figure out were we are, I don't like using google maps, because it always gets me lost, I miss using Mapart maps, but those cost money, so I guess I am using google maps, ahh.
So I looked at google maps and I found out that the next place me and the wife are driving through is Clifford. I thought to myself I wonder if that has anything to do with Clifford The Big Red Dog, that would be rad.
I remember the first time I laid eyes on Clifford The Big Red Dog. It was in kindergarten, like about 40 years ago, when our teacher introduced us to the lovable giant canine and his adventures. The books were colorful and captivating, with simple yet engaging stories that captured our young imaginations.
But what I remember most fondly about those days were the special treats our teacher would bring for us to enjoy while we read. She would bring in rainbow bread, with its vibrant colors and sweet taste, and spread Nutella on top for us to savor. The combination of the delicious snack and the enchanting stories of Clifford made for a magical experience that I will never forget.
As we delved into the world of Clifford, I felt like I was transported to a fairy tale land where anything was possible. The stream of consciousness writing style of the stories allowed my thoughts to flow freely, creating a sense of wonder and excitement that I had never experienced before. It was a time of innocence and joy.
I couldn't wait to get to that town and see it, my wife was getting restless, it was getting very hot in a car with no AC.
Finally we arrived and I told the wife, I'm getting out and going for a walk and stretching my legs.
As I walked through the town of Clifford, I couldn't help but feel like I had stepped into a fairy tale. The quaint little community was filled with charming businesses and colorful gardens, and the streets were lined with old-fashioned lamp posts that cast a warm glow over everything.
I passed by a row of lovely phone booths, each one adorned with paintings of flowers and vines, but strangely, there were no phones inside. It was as if they were there purely for decoration, adding to the whimsical atmosphere of the town.
I came across a beautiful bench Clifford The Big Red Dog on it. The bench looked inviting, so I sat down and took in the sights and sounds of the town. I could hear the gentle babbling of Coon Creek nearby, and the distant laughter of children playing in the park.
As I sat there, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and contentment wash over me. The town of Clifford seemed to have a magical quality about it. I closed my eyes and let my mind wander, imagining all sorts of fantastical adventures that could take place in this enchanting place.
I got up from the bench and walked around some more, they had this awesome art piece on the side of a building.
The magic was just around every corner I walked in Clifford
And as I walked back to the car, I knew that I would always carry a piece of Clifford with me, wherever I went.
