RE: The Most Underrated Success Story on Steemit!

in #welcomewagon6 years ago

The Welcomewagon is such a great initiative. When I started posting on Steemit I floundered about and made so many mistakes - which I learned from, but it took time and quite a bit of wasted effort - eg, wading through sh*tposts, until I found out where all the quality ones were!
I'm still learning, and I have what might seem a daft question - how do I join your curation trail? I never autovote, because I like reading posts, but I've realised that as the people I follow have grown their reputation, I rarely find or see posts from newbies, and I'm sure there must be lots of them. I think this is a general problem on Steemit - we kind of graduate with others who start around the same time as us, and we also follow those who have greater reps, but you can end up in a cloistered world, shielded from new arrivals. That's why I admire the welcomewagon so much.
Is there a welcomewagon digest, or a place that we can find some of the best posts from new arrivals?

Wow!!!! This really touched me- reading this post!!!! I love when people admire what we do... But it's so encouraging to see people who really would love to be a PART of what we're doing!

Now that you've asked... I'd love to just make a post about how to follow our curation trail!

I'll do it tonight! And I'll tag you in it!!! Thank you so much for this!!!! 🙂 I truly appreciate your willingness to stand with us!!!

As far as what you said about being cloistered...you're so right!
We love having those people who grow with us!!!

But... It's always good to have people above us thay pour into us, and people below us ... That we can pour into!

I encourage everyone to take the time to seek out a newbie and pour into them!!! ♥️

You don't have to have an initiative to do that! Just reach one! 🙂

Thank you again for your comment!!!

Thanks @dreemsteem! I'm so glad my comment inspired you to write a post about this, and I'm looking forward to reading it!

Wrote it last night!
Hope you enjoy reading it here!

Oh great - thanks for the heads up! I've been out all day, so I'll give it a read now :)
