• Prey or Praying
• Mantis
• Mantidae
  Their actions as describe of what they are. The position of their front two arms distinguish their origin name.
  ( The Praying Position )

This is my first #insects series in January 2018.

Now, Let's check out what this little dude is doing.
Well of course in the Praying Position again.
They are in the family of Mantodae superorder of Dictyoptera

Do you know Mantis name in ancient Greek?
They are known as Prophet

I always thought that preying mantis is green in colour. Did not know that it is greyish. Green to camouflage on the trees and leaves and plants.

If in my place this insect is called Daruet Aceh, or in English can be interpreted Grasshopper Aceh.
This insect is nicknamed Daruet Aceh, because its hand is like showing the way. @bullionstackers
