I read it was part of HF20 like I’m all for fixing your posts if their was a few mistakes you picked up late maybe you get 1 or 2 edits post 7 days but I’m not so sure about having it on all the time! You could delete all your content anytime you wanted or worse if you’re account is hacked like often we’ve seen it happen you could lose your content

So how would you view iterations saved on the blockchain? I think if that’s the case it would be a really helpful tool with more oversight

You can use any blockchain explorer [ like Steemd ] to see activity.
For instance, here's a post made by one of my accounts which I later went and edited. You can see at the top it says

:So, just to simply see if a post has been edited, you can just check there.
Now, to see the actual edits themselves, I was surprised Steemd doesn't include this already since they are tracking edits. But it wouldn't be that hard to setup to watch for posts, save the data, then include any edits that get added later on.
I feel like Steemd is most set-up to tackle this problem right now, but it's easy enough for a 3rd party to get a basic tool like this up and running. Would be a welcomed addition to the Steem platform for sure! :)

oh wow, I've never heard of that tool before. Thanks for telling me about it, and thanks for the link as well! Was a good read to understand the complexity behind it all, I figured that space would also be an issue due to the sheer size of the chain.
Thanks!
