What is it?
Time for my weekly contest inspired by a game we played with the kids at my niece's birthday one year, albeit slightly more advanced. As with all my contests they are simple enough, guess right and win.
What do you have to guess?
You need to guess this image. It’s a zoomed in shot from an actual object.
As always I aim to keep you guessing but interested for as long as possible, I hope this is tricky but doable. Make sure you give as much detail as possible in your guesses.

We had some persistent guesses all to no avail, even after a hint and an expanded close up were given, the closest we got was a fan and a windmill. So no @sbi share was given out. Instead, this weeks contest will have a @steem-bounty put on it, so keep those guesses coming.

The fuzzy stuff on last weeks threw me.

Thanks. My dream as a kid was to be an oceanographer. I can't do chemistry so that dream got squashed. There we and I think still is a study center in Dana Point, California we would take field trips to (back when schools took field trips) There were tide pools nearby. I loved going there. So that is from memories. They feel soft too, not slimy like one would think or like other octopus species.
My knowledge of the ocean consist of some time at the beach😁
I don't think I will ever be inclined to feel an octopus. I did eat some squid once. Wasn't thrilled with that much either lol
You will probably be doing well with this contest there seems to be a water theme going on with the images.
We'll see. I'm not much into seafood. I have tried a few things, just not my thing.

A Caribbean Reef Octopus about to be cooked?

fHere we are again, lol. Most difficult game on SteemIt, and although none of my earlier guess were even close, I keep coming back to give it a try.
But as always, I’m completely clueless :0)
My first thought was a fish, second one a piece of coral, but you already ruled those out. So my wild , very wild guess for this week is that it’s the leg of a (sea)turtle, although i seriously doubt they there are turtles with red legs, lol
@simplymike haha, I like the little f before the Here, it was like a mini dropping of the f-bomb but hidden hahaha.. OMG, I wish this was a sea turtle! I love them, well all turtles in general. I have a few tattoo's of different turtles.

Why oh why did I get it stuck in my mind that last week was an image from indoors? Anyway I am just going to say this weeks is that bit of red stuff on a roosters face.
