In this article we talked about the question if you should put some ice in your whisky or not. The answer was a clear "NEVER!" because your whisky gets watery and too cold.
Sometimes it is useful to cool down your whisky because it is best drunk a little under room temperature. So if your whisky is whyever too warm (in this case please also read this post) there are small whisky stones which cool down your whisky without making it watery. Just put them in for a few seconds and your whisky has a good drinking temperature.

The decanter looks great and very gallant. Best kept in your globus house bar next to the fireplace and the bearskin on the wall. Although the whisky isn't kept in the original bottle the decanter lets you feel like a James Bond villain. And in addition to it the fastening is denser than most corks so you won't loose too much whisky over time because of evaporation.
