AI Can Find Pedophilia Online // Wikileaks 90GB Documents About Germany Spying with NSA

in #wikileaks8 years ago (edited)

90GB, or 2420, of files from the German government inquiry into the BND and NSA, has been leaked and brought to light by the whistleblowing organization Wikileaks. This inquiry initiated by the German government came as a result of Edward Snowden exposing the links between the German and US intelligence services in 2013.

Julian Assange and Edward Snowden both recognize the problem of a country that is trying to be a model and leader in the EU, taking it's marching orders from the US instead of deciding things on it's own and what's best for the people. Instead, they are doing what is best for it's own power and it's US ally.

Snowden was asked to testify before the inquiry by the German courts, which the German government tried to contest and deny him testimony. Something that didn't save German's face from embarrassment in the US alliance, is that the US had been secretly listening into the communications of over 120 top German officials, including Angela Merkel.

The files reveal that not only did German intelligence know about the spying on Germans, they had their own employee learn how to code in the XKeyscore spyware software. Germany was involved in programming the software they and the US used to spy on Germans.

Somewhat related in news about spying online and finding information, is the development of new software to track child sexual abuse media and prosecute the offenders. The program can apparently use filenames and intelligent filtering of the media itself, to distinguish it from the so-called "accepted" "adult porn".

The toolkit will detect photos and videos in P2P networks. This will help to identify new child abuse more quickly with earlier detection and apprehension of the criminals responsible. Those that produce the child abuse media, are often themselves child abusers, with a 16% likelihood of direct involvement in child abuse.

The research into this technology was done by the iCOP - Identifying and Catching Originators in P2P Networks, founded by the European Commission Safer Internet Program, the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, and University College Cork, Ireland.

The software has a small margin of error: 7.9% for images, and 4.3% for videos. A human can review the findings to make sure the data is accurate and correct the margin of error. Videos and pictures that are missed however, can't be rechecked. Cross referencing systems and their filenames will be able to link those who pass undetected with those who have been caught or suspected, allowing to catch more people who do a good job hiding.

This software is needed. Checking all of the data from P2P networks in not possible for manual human detection. Spotting new media is something previous software could not do, as it was only scanning for known images or files to catch pedophiles and child rapists. Rather than catch them based on old information using the old system, now the software helps to catch them based on fresh new criminal activities that haven't been detected yet.

Pizzagate, Assange and Snowden are all attacking the establishment and the mainstream fakenews reporting of our reality. I link these two news reports as they both deal with shattering the lies from the fake media and taking back the world from perverted evil people in power. Pizzagate and getting rid of pedophiles can be assisted with this software, and hopefully Wikileaks can find some dirt on government officials to incriminate them into the Pizzagate fiasco.

So...some software developer has been spending all his days analyzing child pornography? That's got to be a job you don't talk to the wife about when you get home. I've often wondered how Google manages to keep inappropriate images out of its image search. Surely it is automated.

It's not a secret that the people who claim to hate gay people the most are the most deeply in the closet.

No one bothers to focus on gay people, unless you have some reason to think about gay people more than a normal straight person. A straight person is just confident about their straight sexuality, and doesn't care if another person is gay. A gay person who hates gay people and is in the closet might express hatred for gay people, as if to distance himself from it. "I hate gay people the most, so there's no way I can be gay."

Same with this, I'd expect. The only reason you'd pretend to be so vigilant about finding it is because you want to see it yourself. No one else would even look for it. It's not something a normal person even thinks about. The only reason you'd make make hunting that stuff a "career" is if you have some reason to think about it more than a normal person would. Otherwise, most people get normal jobs doing normal things.

No sane person builds an AI that's designed to find this stuff. It's just not reasonable.

I am crazy busy right now with you know what coming right on time, that I have nothing to say except that I am posting and upvoting every single post in this category I can until it gets "accidentally erased"
