And because of this, I still wait to start. There's no way I could plant before the end of April, even if I wanted to. And most stuff needs to wait until after last frost of May 31, so I wait.

I was hoping for another sunny day to help melt some of the ice. I can see that the snow has compacted somewhat, but nothing compared to what needs too. I should have listened to you about starting later this year. Sigh! I went out to the greenhouse yesterday and set up my digital monitors and it was 100 degrees in there. The overnight said it stayed at 39F so I will watch for a week to see if we dip into another cold spell. I hate to heat it too early on and pay high electric bills.

This is what I want to do if I ever get a greenhouse! I already heat with wood so it’s not a big deal.
That was an impressive system to heat with. I just use two milkhouse heaters and I manage to keep it warm enough. If it drops into the teens or low twenty's I can add a third one. Been doing it like that for over 20 years now.
I have milk house heaters that I've used for various things too. But the rocket stoves would not cost $$, well, except to build...
