@clavismil if you want you can prepare a witness master class for STEEMaprende, check the links @sircork sent you visit them explore it is a nice information tool made by another witness @drakos, if you still have questions feel free to ask here or in the discords, i can show you how to read the info.
You are right about education i used to make posts about it and i explain a lot in @reveur server when we are chatting but i avoid advising any of you to either proxy or asking your guys to vote for this or that one.
I can easily add to the discord bot the list of witness voted for, what i really aim to is to make you discover and understand the importance of using your power to choose, not delegate it.
Now having said that i do proxy my vote to sircork because i trust him and we where voting for almost the same guys anyway.
But i did my research and chose first.. I think it is important for the developpment of quality steemians that you get to see first who represents you...
I can give you as i did the list of those i support and tell you why, but i can be liying to you... It is important that we do our homework, because when we stop having an interest on who is making the decisions we are failing our Commitment as steemizens and surrendering a right in having a say in the direction and gobernance of the platform.
It might sound strange i discourage you to use a proxy especially you have chosen around 25 witnesses on your own, it might serve and support our cause that you set any of us as proxy, and help both do more...
But i don't want that at the expense of the duty and right to choice.
Exactly the point isn't to teach the new users to use their witness votes blindly but use them wisely, So yes... I totally want to do a STEEMaprende class about witnesses, in fact I thought about doing a post related about this a few days ago if you remember @nnnarveaz... but I realised I couldn't do it alone at that moment I was needing to study more about the witness thing (and I did read the witness posts that Narvaez posted long time ago), therefore, I'll do it with help of the @reveur team the next friday and I might bother you with a few questions.
So the solution will be to teach the newcomers about this (and for the old ones remember . Hoping they will understand the bigger picture and try to look further, do the respective research and decide which witnesses to vote and why (at least 15 votes or more). And this call we probably will have to repeat it often since steemit is growing pretty fast...
@sircork thanks for the website, very useful. We've some common votes but for my remaining votes I'll do my research, and find for witnesses which do similar works/projects like the ones that @YouAreHOPE and @reveur promote, and the witnesses which make of steemit and the block-chain a better place for both, spanish and english communities.
Clavis i am jumping in because first i realize you are wasting your time in the English team translating small stuff, you are ready to be posting in English, and that steem aprende class (when we schedule it will have us there to help and support you)
We are starting every tuesday 6pm EST a broadcast of 3 witness in a row...
I would like to invite you to joins us, we start in Spanish with me and then patrice takes over and corcky closes... on @steemstarnetwork
Or sundays @sircork has steemizens of steem where witnesses drop to speak with the crow and share their views.
Being there will be great for you, and we need people able to write in both languages to help us make the point.
Oh that sounds really nice, thanks for the invitation I'll be there... And I don't mind to do the translations, it will help me to improve my english redaction skill :D
