In the beginning I think I did something similar to what you did, I voted for the witnesses at the top too. Gradually, when I understood how Hive works better, I removed some votes and was more selective.

It's always good to review things from time to time. This reminds me to review the proposals I voted for too, I need to take a look at how they're doing.
