Very good questions you have. I don't have all the answers as I spend a great deal of my time STILL finding my way around since the beginning of Oct. I do have a list of witnesses I've voted for because those are ones I see quite often in name doing something that is benefiting the platform. I just really haven't come across your name that often, but am sure it is not because you are not busy but only because this is a large pond here. I found and followed you after a post made by one of your followers about the @YouAreHope and that caught my eye.
I have many things in the works in hopes it will add value to the platform, just so many of those things take some focus on my part and I get spread a bit thin as you are experiencing as well.
I have owned the domain FundYOURCause.com for many years and it has changed its face many times and has laid dormant for some of the past years. I am very impressed with what @familyprotection is doing and some of the other causes which are starting to appear here on the platform. I also have noted that Steemit.com is rising in Alexa rankings and have now redirected my domain to a blog making it easier for me to build. As I began looking for other "causes" on Steemit to begin making backlinks from the blog I came across your @YouAreHope and have been reading some of the Steemians posts from Venezuela and am so impressed. Will be adding links on the blog back to the causes here on the Steemit platform soon.
As for voting for witnesses, I have voted for a few. One I voted for in the beginning I decided to remove the vote only because as soon as I began visiting his posts my CPU began rising through the roof on an old computer that was already simply limping along and with the added usage it seemed to use up all the memory and the little bandwidth I get each month from satellite internet so I had to order another laptop just to continue with Steemit. That issue is resolved for now but am a bit skeptical of who I vote for because I will undoubtedly end up reading their posts and can't afford another computer nor a choice for another internet provider.
I am now interested in learning more about your @SteemStarNetwork and will be checking it out and just bookmarked steemstar.net. I love the MSP_Waves when I have the bandwidth to tune in (which is the first 2 weeks of the month)
Thank you for taking the time to post your concern. So as not to take up all your comment space here I will just say this. I will definitely vote you as a witness and I see that can be done in the dropdown box on my own page. Whoooo Hoooo! "Love it when a plan comes together."
So a bit of history... I built MSP Waves from scratch with my blood, sweat and tears, glad you enjoy it. :) SteemStar Network is similar but since it's my second time building a network, it's much more robust, tho with a few less shows since we're not as old yet.
As for YAH, we've done work in 7 countries now, Venezuela just being a tad more high profile than the others on the platform for now, but keep digging into our history since we began in October when I resigned from senior leadership and building PAL with the rest of that team for months on end to pursue these efforts.
Thanks for the thoughtful remarks and observations, I've seen you before around here and it's nice to see you again and hear from you.
Thanks!
What I have determined is that it is the Witnesses that keep the Steem in our sails so a big thank you for all you and the other witnesses do around this pond. The entire concept of what is happening with this blockchain platform continues to grow for me each day. So much opportunity to make real change and it is available to anyone that dares to give it a go. Will see you around!
It's mind-boggling, isn't it? See you on the block!
