I've not been a fan of either offering to be fair.. @steemsports makes Steemit look like a sports betting site and @steemgames simply put it running childish beauty pageants. Neither of these things make our community look decent.
for me, I feel that both @steemsports and @steemgames appeal to the most base, lowest part of our lizard brains. There is no real inherent creativity, humor, surprise or intelligence contained within these two projects. There is so much bottom-dwelling stuff already on the internet, it just seems to drag down the reputation even further, driving away growth and investment. As a stakeholder, I have to make my honest opinions known. Selling human sex appeal for profit is very close to being a pimp.......pretty freaking low. Like @klye, I will not be supporting it, I will be discouraging it.
Feeling the same as you! And as woman i think this kind of competition doesn't make me want to be part of this. I'm sorry, i don't know the English English words to express al my bad feeling about this matter. I only want that this goes away! It's stupid !!

All we can do is not vote on this type of behaviour really and hope it goes away.
I'll be contacting the "whales" that autovote these posts personally to ask them to re-consider supporting these sort of things.. Other than that not much one can do. :/

Ok. I upvote the first one in consideration to ms Steemit, but i thought the photos weren't the most appropriate. But the ones i saw yesterday... wtf! If whales are voting this kind of things they definitely should consider what kind of woman they want on Steemit. The ones contributing with good bodies or good content! For me it's easy to choose, i will stop recomending Steemit to my friends

Already read your post...this situation got completely absurd with flags! I think @kyle had the courage to write about this contest, and I share some of his's opinions. I also searched for "http://steemyornot.com/" and I didn't see any woman doing its duck face or showing her intimacy. I definitely don't think @steemgames should put people on this kind of contest, and promote this kind of photos!
