I know, right? My daughter's the one who told me about it, my mom had kept all my archie comics so when she was about eight she started getting into them--which they're actually awesome for increasing vocabulary, not something you realize until your child is reading them-- and then when the show came out she was excited at first "Mom, mom Riverdale is coming to the CW!" We watched the first episode together and were totally speechless. Jughead's character--I can't even.
Oh. My. God. That is RIDICULOUS. Guns and blowing stuff up on Dora, really??
You know, I've been trying out all different series recently and finding myself kind of depressed, everything is so freaking dark! Outlander, that's one of the only exceptions. The book series was fantastic and the starz series is doing it incredibly well. And while there is certainly tough stuff in it, it always makes me feel hopeful rather than down.
Howie says "Shouldn't it be the other way around? After all we do have two decades of experience to impart to the upcoming newly weds, double wink back atcha" . lol!
I forgot to mention, my Sonic and Knuckles comics were published by Archie Comics, so I got the chance to become familiar with the folks of Riverdale as well. When I was younger though my preference leaned more toward anthropomorphic creatures than straight up human teenagers though haha!
Really? Why do I see a lot of people raving about Jughead? Haha! I see him as Cody though haha!
Seriously? Haha! Outlander didn't make the cut for me. Well, I did eliminate it after watching just the first episode though. Might have to revisit it after seeing you like it. I fell asleep a couple of times watching the pilot, but it might've just been bad timing.
Touche, Howie. Touche!
