I'm not going to pretend that this isn't moving along at freaking glacial speed. I don't know why, there's no explanation for it. I don't eat much, my daily calorie count is always low and my daily step count is always high.
But, slowly and surely, it's happening! I started at 230 pounds. I have dropped another 5!! I am now at 215 pounds!!!
I'm averaging 3 pounds a month, I want to work harder and bump that up to a pound a week. I'm not complaining though, 30 pounds in 10 months is still an accomplishment!
Happy, happy, happy daaaaance!!!
So I happily proclaim! 15 pounds gone!!! And those birches are never coming back!!!
Here's to the next 5 pounds!!!
Love to you!!!
As a personal trainer (who hasn't had a client in a year or so, so, ex- CPT, I suppose, but I'm trained, anyway), I promise you, that's not glacial! That's a healthy pace. If you go faster, then you tend to see the people who yo-yo and gain it all back. You're doing it the right way. Big props to you!
Thank you!
sqweeee!
I agree with @phoenixwren, it's not good to reduce weight too fast, the important thing is that it's going in the right direction.
I had some success and was going in the right direction, but I have had a setback and a relapse into overeating and eating junk. Shame on me. It shouldn't be that hard for me to get out of the "overweight" category, it just takes some determination.
Don't be too hard on yourself. It takes a lot of determination!

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.
Bold. So admirable.
Thank you!
I remember you said a while back you were going to ditch soda in favour of Odwalla. Did you? I was reading lately that Odwalla, owned by the Coca-Cola company, actually has more sugar in it than coke itself. Hidden sugar is very often the problem when you're trying to lose weight.
Great memory! No, it turns out Odwalla is incredibly expensive and I am incredibly dead broke, lol!
I have not completely cut out soda, but it has become much more of a rarity, maybe once or twice a week instead of every day.
I think we may have discovered the only advantage in being flat broke.....inability to afford Odwalla!
I guess that could be an advantage...
