I'm going to tell you a true very very short story that happened to me personally. It's a weird thing that happened because of my sleep depriving. Take my example and please get enough rest every night, you don't want to go what I've been through.
If you've seen the movie inception this may sound a bit familiar, but it's a lot scarier when you actually live it and not just read about it.
It was somewhere about sixth or seventh day in a row that I've slept for less than 1 hour a night and some good night sleep was long overdue. I passed out somewhere around 9 PM and after what felt like only minutes weird shit started going on. I awoke to my best friend sitting on the bedside and everything felt so natural and I was really well rested. After a few minutes of talking to him an image outside the window caught my eye, it looked like a junkyard outside. That made zero sense since I lived in the city center and before I could even blink darkness came over me. A minute later I woke up with the realization that it was only a dream. And after another minute I realized that I woke up inside a dream once again. Everything around me was toxic yellow and there was a creepy looking figure staring at me from the hallway. Then it started to get worse. Second after second I would wake up and realize I was still stuck in my dreams and every following dream got more gruesome and scary. All up until it felt like everything was gone. I was again in my bed talking to my friend and everything seemed perfectly normal. No junkyard, no creatures in the hallway, nothing. I burst into tears, opening my soul to my friend, explaining what I've just been through. Somewhere mid sentence I stopped and for no obvious reason said: "You're not real either, are you?" My friend nodded and vanished into thin air, leaving me in tears, fighting for air. After what felt like an hour I was finally REALLY awake, shaking in sweat, heart pumping insanely. I've been asleep for over 15 hours and I didn't feel rested one bit, more like traumatized. I stayed awake for about 7-8 hours that day, not doing anything important and decided to go to bed early. After a night of excellent sleep everything was back to normal. Although I sometimes still have creepy dreams and sleep paralysis it never came close to being as frightening as that one...
