I know exactly whom you are talking about and I'll be having a word with him personally about this matter when I see him online.
The sports things front paging all the time.. Yeah. that's annoying. @steemsports has made a kings ransom with their project and while I cannot be upset with them for making money.. the way they've made it kind of sucks in my opinion. They certainly don't deserve the rep score they have.
This is merely the "Hey guys, stop being dicks" post. I hope they read and understand it.. and better yet stop.
If they don't it's going to get crappy.. I don't want to spend a day or 2 contacting whales personally to sway them against voting for these accounts but worse comes to worst that is exactly what I'll be doing.

I saw their announcement post yesterday about the pay options they are setting up and good for them. They have done some strong test marking of the concept here on Steemit and kudos to them for doing so.
The more I think about though, the more I'm of the opinion that if they are going to run a pay system and still offer a 'free play' option, it needs to be on their own system and funded by their pay system not continuing to be funded by the reward pool.
BUT, I'm just a minnow and like opinions, they are many but carry little weight.
Not true.. Your opinion is just as valueable as anyone elses..
It's merely how you express your opinion to the masses here that counts.
Everyone has thoughts on most matters.. But sharing them in a way that all people can grasp and understand is something I try and strive for... My language may be colourful and my grammar just as bad.. But the message I'm trying to get across seems to have been heard atleast by some.
I agree with you 100%. We'll give steemsports time to fix their systems before launching a full on offensive at them. I don't think they're fundementally a bad group.. I just think they've very little consideration for others or the community in respects to vacuuming up rewards that would be far better in young steemters posts rather than sports betting / beauty pageants.
