RE: Dreaming

in #writing7 years ago

Yes, people do dream and that's a good thing of course. The problem is, that very often people don't really know what their true dreams are.. When they don't know, they start ''standard dreaming'' of things like a huge house, awesome job, big salary, fast car etc. If these are not their true dreams, getting these things won't make them happy and something will still be missing. In addition to that, false dreams keep people very busy and they never have time to think about what they really want.

I wish I had a true dream.

I've been trying to think if I have one, but haven't come up with anything too special. This kind of sucks.

I hope you know your trued dream :)

I know some of my true dreams, yes. I'm also pursuing them but I'm also pursuing some of the "standard" dreams even though I don't know for sure if these things will actually make me happy. The important thing is that my true dreams and my "standard" dreams don't nesessarily exclude each other and both of them bring me comfort. I think there is nothing wrong with combining :)
