You said you didn't enjoy the story because some questions have been left unanswered...I actually think otherwise...a mystery novel/movie is meant to be mysterious...

She moved from a charming warm lady, to a seductress, to a misterious woman. Her mischievous looks will make you dread what Rachel will do next.
The director only left the rest of the movie with your imagination....

On the movie, i always want to know what happened, what led to what. I think it's because i'm super inquisitive.
My favourite mystery movie so far is BRIMSTONE, i love the way the director revealed each character in details in different parts. I recently wrote about it, check it out.
