Surrender into Mermaid

In Peru last September, I could NOT clasp my hands into Mermaid. Now I can touch my feet to the back of my head with ease. This and other pigeon variations have become a part of my daily practice.

Before Mexico in February, I could only touch the back of my head to my toes on the left side... then I did the kambo ceremony.... the poisonous tree frog helped my body to detox the the point of no more daily inflammation, and my chronic back pain is GONE (went to a chiro with high inflammation 2 December's ago, and left with a pinched nerve that lasted for 14 months).

Now I can get into the full pose on both sides with ease and grace, and now I can touch my toes to the back of my head on both sides totally pain free!!!! I am documenting my journey and my imperfect yoga practice, so you all know that you CAN do it, too. Any feedback on posture and positioning is greatly appreciated.

Today I listened to Man of No Ego while I did yoga and then meditated. Its my favorite!!!

I love this, and you! Inspiring post, to the point of me getting up and getting my mat out ❤🙏😘

Oh fuck yes, now we are talking!!!!

It's awesome what yoga has done for you, well done on that pose! I did yoga many years ago, was very helpful when going through a depression, nowadays I'm just meditating but know the two go together well. Must start again!

They are wonderful together!! Today I did yoga then meditated for a long long time!!! It was amazing!!!

Hey! That mermaid is wearing a seahorse! :-)

I love that you're sharing your process. I think that's the most generous form of teaching.

I have never thought of it that way, and I TOTALLY agree!!!

Wow! Thank you for sharing. What posiounoness tree frog? Interesting? Highly Resteemed
