Maybe try them with him - sometimes it's nice to have the moral support of someone practicing with you to establish your new, healthy habits. Please let me know how he improves! Yoga will improve flexibility! But it also doesn't matter too much if you can touch your toes or not - yoga will always give you exactly what you need. The trick is to not expect it to look a certain way, but instead to appreciate where you are at in each moment without attachment.
