Very intriguing love the story behind the pose i’ll have to follow for more. Not quite there yet. I have been doing yoga for a few year but my hamstring are so tight from cycling it’s taking a while. I know I not doing the right asana but trying to gather some good routines to practice :)

ahhh but that's the beauty of this pose for us with tight hamstrings!! Like I said, don't let it intimidate you, your legs do not have to be fully extended, work on pushing down through your arms and lifting with your core. When you squeeze your arm with your legs you get incredible lift. As a cyclist I can imagine it won't be hard to find that strenght! Have fun with your progress!!
