What you say about the salary not being the reason people work in these places you are absolutely right. In Venezuela the minimum wage is 2 usd/month, and the cost of the basic foods basket is around 400 usd, so I was beyond impressed (and worried) when Yosu told us he had used his savings to buy these supplies.
You will hear more from this young man, as he has advanced on this project already, and he fibnally has the support of the hospital officials.
