Interesting to hear about more youtube content creators switching gears, do you just feel that upkeep managing both isn't worth it? I was mainly planning on youtube in conjunction with steemit for certain things.
Like game reviews - doing a "let's play " type video while also breaking it down in a steemit post sounds pretty good. It does seem like there is room to use both mediums in a synergistic way without it taking too much effort.
What I wouldn't support is just linking the youtube video into steemit without adding any information/context/breaking it down and so basically trying to double dip the content.
yes, good points... my youtube stuff had pretty much wound down and stopped (I was into tabletop gaming last year, but now am on to other things), so it's basically a fresh start here. it seems that they each have their separate strengths to manage differently. peace
