What are the benefits to launch APPICS with its own SMT compared to steem? Is it just branding? XAP will probably never be more worth than steem, like no ERC20 token is more worth than ETH.

hey @street.yoga you bring a really good question, I wish I could have all the answers but I will try with this:
The way I see it is that this concept of an independent mobile application for visual content running on top of the STEEM blockchain has a huge market for it, bringing a whole new experience for users... just look how Instagram grew, and at the end of the day, this will provide more value to the Steem blockchain itself.
Regarding the price of XAP being stronger than Steem, I rather no speculate. Of course XAP has a long trail to hike up, although looking at Steemit as a study case and knowing that majority of people will tend to interact more through video and photography then blogging, these combined make that trail less difficult for XAP.
I hope I made sense =)
Oh and off topic, every time I see the "yoga" word, it reminds me that I really have to find my way to do it at least twice a week. Thank you!
No understand, but I didn't mean the steemit interface but steem as a currency, like d.tube for videos, busy.org or steepshot which is basically the same like instagram or APPICS for what i see and there is even a decent app.
Do yoga better twice to trice times a week, there shouldn't be a longer break than two days to move forward ;)
Oh I see what you mean, to be honest Steem already has huge community built and a very well accepted as a cryptocurrency. I really dont know what the future will bring.
And regarding yoga, listen man, I have tried and somehow I know it is very important for my body and soul, still sometimes is hard, I wish I could find the formula or maybe I just have to work on my will and find myself into it.
Start small, that's what helped me, i committed to 15 minutes a day, no matter what, because that much time is wasted daily anyways so you can as good invest that time to have a gracefuller life at an older age. I logged my time with a simple motivational technique from Jerry Seinfeld named "don't break the chain", simply mark every day in the calendar and if you leave out one day you simply start over and try to beat your previous streak. A supportive community like codyapp.com helps too, my streak was over 2 years and the 15 minutes turned into hours daily.
This year I try to slow down a little, just 90 minutes :)
