Nothing
Nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing!
I had a great idea last night after having a few beers and working on that image up there. I didn't write it down. In other words, I forgot what I was going to write about today.
I got nothing today, except for a few hours of art production time and a completed image to show you.
Here it is again, but smaller.

I won't say it's far from good, but I will say it's good from far.
Often I share my work here and I think many of the details are overlooked. Much of my work morphs and paints itself within the mind the more one looks at it.
Faces that turn into other faces that make up the body of a being that isn't there unless you see it, and more; plus whatever your mind produces once pareidolia kicks in.

I don't often share my process. It's not easy to explain how I'm attempting to trigger your subconscious and trick your eyes into seeing something that isn't really there, I just do it.
Have a nice day.

Wow..nice one.
Wow! This was really something.

You know what I saw here? A moth on a mouth, like in the Silence of the Lambs poster, with slightly different wings
That image is stored inside your mind permanently. My image triggered the memory. That's how this works. Isn't this fun!
evil laughLOL!It is fun!
I was taking photos of a fire today (we had a bbq), the figures in the flames reminded me somehow of your images. I was trying to see shapes when I was looking at my shots later. You are a bad influence, mister! Good job! :P
People share photos here and from time to time I like to ask if they see the face that isn't there. If I ever get a decent camera I want to go around and snap photos of this world most overlook.
Face that isn't there? Faces are everywhere. We are programmed to find them, faces, hearts, stars and other familiar shapes....
Like the screaming burning man in this one

Side profile. Nice. There's one in the clouds watching the show as well. Along with a snake coming in from the left to eat the fire.
I can't see the one in the clouds 🤔
Only the angry face in the smoke, something between Medusa's tremendous form and an angry Beethoven...
I see a profile of a gorilla skull here, is it just me?
All gorilla skull :D
I see Elvis.
*edit: Yeah, now I see it!
Definitely a pregnant transparent alien with the face of a sharpei puppy.
Reminds me of my cryptocurrency profits so far this year.
I think this piece is really neat. It's like your looking into a sunset with pinkish clouds that are morphing into shapes. I see a cyclops alien with a bearded demon head in it's stomach. If I look at it squinting I see it's mouth open with sharp teeth. Pretty sure it wants to eat me....Pretty darn scary...
Was it scarier than trespassing today? ;)
Aww...you read my post. :) I would say yes. The imagination can be scarier than reality. Breaking the rules was quite freeing. Look up from that forbidden spot and all you see is peacefulness. Good chance I'll be trespassing again. They have this creepy looking abandoned looking barn that needs it's picture taken.
Be careful though. That barn might be where they keep the bodies.
There's a woman and some kind of animal ready to bite a cloud up in those clouds.
Clearly, this is imagery showing how many facets we have in us. The separate, almost autonomous, personas that make up our whole. The same, yet different inner selves, accumulating to be who we are.
No wonder we are always in conflict with ourselves.
Post Script: please don't take this comment seriously. I just don't have much of a sense of humor today.
That sounded professional within my mind. I feel smarter now, after reading it.
A conflict of interest. I see a man lowering his bulbous head, at the top of which is a fierce, unpleasant looking fellow - the Mastermind. Below, at the level of his heart is a larger peaceful looking fellow in meditation - a pure heart. So, is the man battling out good and evil within himself, or, is he bowing down his head toward the peace in his heart?
And your going to answer something about bacon and I will be so confused.
I can't tell you what you see but I will say the salad I had earlier was fantastic. Tomorrow I think I'll have a toasted tomato, cheese, and bacon sandwich. I'm going to stay quiet about the art though. I have to for this one.
I had a beef chimichanga - brilliantly crisp shell, topped with that perfect combination of enchilada/cream sauce, and a sprinkling of cilantro. Served with the best salsa and chips in town.
But I'm sure your salad was fantastic. ;)
This is so damn trippy...
I can only agree. I nearly lost my mind a few times while I was working on it.
I can see how that may happen!
What I see will definitely get me sent to some
sort of institution. Wow, this is intense.
I love it.
If you would so kindly return the leader of the almighty cat race. You can just drop it off into a mailbox. The humans will evenly ship him back to area 51. The spaceship is almost ready to return it home to Messier 64. Not like we are in any hurry to have it back, I mean it’s not like the earth is going end tomorrow or anything like that. However, before next Tuesday that be great.
I'll tell my people to tell their people to get on it once everyone gets back from vacation. It won't be next Tuesday though. I'll shoot for last Thursday.
Sounds good, at long as it’s before the next ice age that is caused by Yellowstone Caldera erupting and blocking out sunlight for decades to come. The supreme leader is not a fan of prolonged ice fishing trips.
My pareidolia reflex is going off the scale!
Even google is freakin' out. I did an image search on the smaller version and it tells me that's a tiger. Rawr!
Wait... It's not a tiger!?!
The image search for the larger image tells me it's 'art'. Google has good taste. I don't see a tiger, but there is a lion beside your name, so you should probably run.
Consider it done. The running that is!
Just when i thought it was a serpent with an eagles beak!!!Nooooohhh
What I call true artistic expression
Trick me ? lol
I can clearly see selfie 🤳.
I'm not the photogenic type, clearly.
I thought i had it until you said you where trying to trick us, is that not a little person inside a bigger person screaming because it has a little person inside it?
It's your mind tricking you, with my help. It's whatever you see. I can't answer that.
As per my Pareidolia, Its Looks Like a baby in a womb!
Trippy. I'm sure the parents will be proud.
Lol! Technically You are the Parent 😉
Proud papa!
My pareidolia showed me a spider covering a man's vagina. Yup.
you creation looks danger this time seems like a girl in ashes
Either pareidolia or not, whatever name they might call it. You are really good in painting. If one look deeply, he might see a blur image of somebody. Good painting.
it looks like a bad spirit, I've dreamed similar shadows!
have a beautiful evening!
That's me in my alien form............... I wonder where my clothes are. Man that was a big blunt that I smoked.
😆😂😂go awayyy
;-)
I think you tricked yourself into tricking us.
Your style intrigues me both in the art and your writing style thanks as always
I'd like to have dinner with the majority of those figures of the mind.
😂😆You had me from here!!!lawd, wakanda person does this!!😂
I didn't want to leave anyone out, ya know!
I can see someone meditating there! I don't know if that's good or bad!
I don't think good or bad matters. I saw a duck getting stabbed by a knife in the clouds once and I survived.
I like the art.
Awesome!
Ohh !!!
So horror art...
It looks like a human soul...I am so afraid.. !!!!!
Don't forget to look under your bed before you go to sleep tonight.
You should offer this image up for collaboration. You'd probably get some really interesting results!
I wouldn't even know where to begin with something like that.
It's not hard. Just create a new post - saying you are inviting people to collaborate with the image. You can check out what @everlove has been doing with her "Collaborative Art Journey" photographs. (although she hasn't done one in a while)
Here's a link to her most recent invitation:
https://steemit.com/collaborativeartjourney/@everlove/invitation-collaborative-art-journey-depths-of-eternity-no-36-this-is-your-invitation-to-collaborate-whatever-your-expression
And, here's a link to the final gallery (the one prior to the one above):
https://steemit.com/collaborativeartjourney/@everlove/finale-stretched-thin-collaborative-art-journey-no-35-157-steemian-artists-have-created-over-712-masterpieces-together
You can (if you want) add the Creative Commons logo to it - like they suggest with the @slothicorn project- or not.
You could give it a week deadline, or whatever. It doesn't need to be a contest - @everlove's aren't contests. They are just fun collaborations, and then she posts a final gallery of everyone's work at the end. Her thing has gotten so big, and popular and she has shared at some of the Steemfest events, that now she has everyone fill out a release form- so that she can share them in the future. But, you don't have to do that. You could make it really easy.
I'm sure lots of people would join in. Probably even @meesterboom - he's done quite a few of the Collaborative Art Journey ones. :) I'd do it, too! It's really cool to see the different directions people go in - which is in-keeping with that word you through out there- "pareidolia" (new word for me!)
If you made it a regular thang - you could title it "Pareidolia".
I don't think I have the time to take on something like that. My voting power is maxed as well. I'd want to be able to reward people for their efforts, not disappoint them.
I see Nothing!
Meditating Buddha is all I can see in the image very clearly. What are your thoughts about it?
My thoughts are popping off like fireworks. I'll keep it to myself. I don't want to say for it might ruin the fun.
You and those strange faces. I see a giant dog face that consumed a alien, a rabbit and a old man, and he doesn't seem to thrilled he got eaten.
Well you'd be mad, too.
It's Spiderman... or not!
Does whatever a spider can, or can't.
What software do you use for your artwork? It's very dark and intriguing. I'd love to try to create something along these lines. I often see images like this during those hours of sleep that aren't really sleep.
That looks like my last Xray!
This is such a cool image. It looks like a molten fiery alien looking out over a conquered world.
It looks up and down at the same time. I don't trust it.
