Yeah. They do. Today was no different. Seriously, I'm thinking I only will be able to break out of this cycle when I go to third shift for 4 days next week. I won't go anywhere near the couch at any time. It'll be no napping on the couch for sure - just real sleep and chores. It has been good for overall cat relationships though; Simon thought he was replaced when I got the kitten, Noah, and since I have him curled up with me, he'll come back & sleep on the bed at night now. So, it hasn't been a totally unproductive time of napping. Just harder to fall asleep later, which means the couch looks very inviting when I get home, and, it's better than dealing with 95 degree, 78% humidity outside. Right? Well... that's my story anyway. ;-)

What's your total indoor cat count?
Five right now; boys 3, girls 2 - White w/orange, orange w/white and 3 all black.
You definitely are attuned to the cat world.
I suppose it's because I have seldom not had one or more of them for company since I was born. Horses would be next on the list, but there are big gaps without the horses. I've only ever had one as a next door neighbor for about 15 months when I was a caretaker in a stable. Cats have been a household mainstay for all but a few years of my life. " Life without cats? I don't think so! " Wouldn't be a home without them. ;-)
