when I feeling down because of one matter
I remember poor people and people without shelters
I remember patients in hospital
after that i found i am better than all of them
my problem is much smaller
then i thank my god :)
I isolate myself because being near peoppe makes it worse they keep asking how i am and what happened making me feel even more down
I take a walk around my neighborhood, I drink a beer, I sit down to hang out in the square, I just need some time to relax and that everything continues.
I sometimes take time to go out to some health resort or picnic spot. Sometimes i sit with my family and get relieved . At times i watch vdios on you tube realted to the circumstance putting me down and find somw good solutions .At time, i meditate with the hope that creator best knows the solution of everything . Sometimes , i sleep and wake up fresh and eveeytime i try to look at people suffering more than me ans still
keeping going and tbat is what boosts me to keep going aa well
When I feel down I just pray then sleep.
Sometime I also binge eat when I feel down.
It is really hard to think when you're down so I tend to rest
@bunnypuncher Thank you so much for all your contests! I appreciate all your efforts that your are putting in these!
Thanks that mean alot.
You're welcome!
i always want to sleep when iam feeling down ...
so that after a nap i cann feel better and refresh ..
When depression hits me really hard I just shutdown and take a nap. Its to hard for me to deal with life around me so i left my body and brain take a break.
Well, I usually go to the gym or walk/run/hike. This doesn't of course always work and the deeper into the funk one sinks the harder it becomes to get motivated. often then I turn to visceral vices such as food and drink i.e. alcohol. This generally just makes me feel worse the next day and maybe for even days after. It's tough when you lose the Mojo. Riding high for months.....and then a change of plans or a missed day of routine and Bam! down I tumble.
I will tackle everything appropriately, for example I will go for a cup of tea to cool my head. Once when I became angry with someone I got an account for a gaming tournament and killed all enemies thinking it as him. I felt relaxed afterwards.Mostly I prefer to sleep if its too much for me to handle.I hope I can handle it better in a fresh day tomorrow. It worked many times. Thanks for the question @bunnypuncher
Hello @bunnypuncher. Everytime I'm feeling down I just turn my attention into planting. I love planting vegetables and flowers in a pot. Eventually, my negative feelings turn into positive. An example of this was when I'm with my daughter. I was down at that time because I had a debate with my workmate. I went home early at that time.
Try it boss @bunnypuncher, it's very effective!
i used to write of it where i can let it all out the bad emotions
Watch TV and snacking (lots of it).
I take a little break, I laugh and I keep doing my things.
When I feel down, I listen to music I can sing along to in a very tone-deaf but therapeutic manner :D while eating food that I enjoy, and playing a videogame that takes me out of the real world.
I find those 3 things combined help immensely. By themselves is a small relief, but together, wonderful.
I eat and drink more than normal, then i can listen to music or read book/comic/novel... Sometime I write all in facebook but put private mode and when I read it again, I don't remember what happened in that time.
But i'm not often feel upset or down, hope everyone like me!
i love to eat ice cream
that makes me feel good <3

What I've learned to help cope is to listen to music, get a distraction, and sometimes I would write down my anger and sadness into a journal. Something that I've come across is writing your feelings down and then burning it, watching the ashes go up in the air is shown to be enlightening for some and I've heard that it helps. I've yet to try it myself though but maybe soon.
Sleeping or watching series and movies...

Listening to good Music 🎶🎶🎶
I play sports that relaxes my mind and helps me concentrate on the important parts of life and see the beautiful things that I have been great in my life with.
When I'm feeling down I travel go to other places, meet new friends and entertain myself.
I talk to my mother and lay down on her lap. This makes me have a look into the positive side of life. Helps me realise how blessed I am to have such a beautiful life .
I GET TO CRY, FOR A SHORT TIME, TO DRAIN PAIN, THEN I COMPARED MY PROBLEM WITH THAT OF OTHERS, AND SOMETIMES I GO TO WALK AND CONVERSE WITH MY FRIENDS. THE EVIL IS GOING ON ME.
When I feeling down, I just listening songs. Its really give me the the power to forgot those things and slowly slowly my mind come cool and I feel good.
When I feel bad I try to go out and distract myself, not to focus or think about how bad I can feel, there is no better way to forget the bad things than to be with the mind occupied in other things and surrounded by people, you have to keep active.
Look at pictures of hot women online is one way to combat depression, but seriously I have been using the Law of Attraction meditation to keep it together and prescription meds!

I'm not sure Mrs. B would let me use this method. But I bet it can be effective.
Honestly, there aren't that many things that really help. In most cases it is actually the time that helps to get over this phase.
When I'm feeling down, I think about having another baby to hold in my arms. I think about the way snowflakes land on my face and melt, and beautiful flowers and their elegant scents...
Actually, no. I don' t think about any of that.
I call up some buds and hit up the closest bar to pound back some pints.
Great question @bunnypuncher. I depends on what I'm feeling and where I am. If I'm at home. Video Games lets met get out my violent aggression LOL...more like blowing things up and beating them to a pulp.
When it happens at work : Music various types usually loud.
I have a pretty big list of things to pull from reading, writing, painting, coloring. Sometimes I just let the mood work itself out. It's totally ok to have a day like this. I think we put too much pressure on ourselves and this is one of the ways our minds tell is to take a time out. It's when it happens frequently, becomes a pattern that you need to see or talk to someone and try other coping skills.
I try not to think a lot but I always end up thinking a lot. I always go through the past but with time the thinking slows down and I'll find my bed if I'm home or take a walk around areas where I can see some kids and play with them.
Hello everyone
Its good to keep your alone and make yourself understand that its life and we have to struggle.
Wgen you are down, one should never take decisions because that will have negative impact on life for sure.

Hi @bunnypuncher, thank you for organizing these giveaways. It really adds excitement to our Steemit life :)
When I am feeling down, I would sometimes cry it out and slowly pick myself up by getting distracted with house chores or crafts. Most times, I would keep telling myself that everything is going to be alright and to always look on the bright side of life (whistle)(from the Monty Phyton's).
When im down and felling blue, there is only one way to make me feel better.. I EAT and drink 1 cold bottle of beer! That just it, I eat my comfort food and settle with a bottle of beer to cap my day.
Most of the time, i would call my friends and ask them if they have time for pizza, ice cream and a beer! and while im at it, i let out all my frustrations trying weigh things, what did i miss or what did i do wrong, what went wrong...blaah blaah blaah. sometimes i cry it out too, it helps somehow.
But if I dont have the money to buy food, I just take a shower and cry till it ache no more! hehe
God bless you more @bunnypuncher! Thanks!
There's this time in my life that I was feeling low. I slept all day. The next day, still the same... what I did, I watched Gordon Ramsey's random cooking shows on YouTube. Crazy, but the guy made me laugh and forget about my problem.
My dogs help me too. They are my great stress reliever.
Congrats to the winners
Mostly I prefer to sleep if its too much for me to handle.I hope I can handle it better in a fresh day tomorrow. It worked many times. Thanks for the question @bunnypuncher
I look for a funny movie to watch.some other times I may take a stroll depending on the mood
When I feel bad I think that the world falls in front of me that is the end of everything, either because they do something to me or because I feel guilty of the problems that happen!
but as always there is someone at your side who loves you, I look at my surroundings, they are always there, for me it is my family.
When looks at how much we love each other, that gives me the strength to get ahead. Nothing more effective than the syrup called Love.
i've found the only way round that, when it happens on a rare occasion, is find something to do, be it watch a film or stick some music on... usually the latter, because sound itself has something, which can bring you level. Especially if it's a favourite, the kind which you feel from more than listen to.
Write your feelings.
Be a person who laughs easily and smiles.
Find out how to cry well.
Think about things that are more important.
