Last time we discussed how powerful the mind is. Notably, every action we take starts from the mind. This is because it is transmitted through the eyes. The relationship between the mind and the eyes can not be overemphasized: the accient Christian book(Bible) was specific about the relationship between the eyes and the mind it noted that;
"If the eyes is simple, the whole body will be bright"

The great question here is: How will a simple eye affect the body? What does the mind offer to this simplicity relationship?

The eyes is like a mirror of the body(Accient Bible scroll 14th century C.E) it illuminates the brain with pictures of the actions and inaction of the environment. When this is done, the pictures are censored by the brain and it is transmitted and illustrations are made by mind that sends messages to the body. But before then the illustrations are selected by the mind, so the mind activates the body message on which illustration to bring to life after its conceived. Therefore we could postulate that the mind is like a middle man between the eyes and the body. Hence it becomes the building blocks of ideas and a key start for action or a brake pad for non action and procrastination.

How Can You Harness the power of the Mind?

Firstly to activate the mind power is the first step to harness the mind. If you Dont activate the power of the mind you will never harness it. I will discuss extensively how to do this in my next article but let's talk about how to harness it.

1. Seek Knowledge
If you want a powerful brain you must seek more knowledge, never shut the mind to learning. Learning is also a tool that activates mind power, more importantly it helps you harness it; the mind gathers knowledge it's with the knowledge that the mind acts on information that the eyes shares with it. If you have no information on a picture that the eyes shares with the mind, your actions will be limited or you would take no action at all. So gather knowledge.

2. Take Time to process the information
Yes... You have knowledge but you need to be sure it's the authentic information. So take more time to process it, understand it, play around it and with it, wield it test it, bad make sure of it.

3. Exercise the Mind
Just as physical exercise can help the heart and brain to function well, Mediation is like food and exercise to the eyes. Mediation helps harness the mind, deep meditation is good for the mind. Always look for a quiet place to exercise your mind although different places for different people.

4. Travel, Travel and Travel
Traveling helps the mind, this can also help the mind go places when you are still there, this also is one key activating factor to the mind. So let your eyes see beautiful places the mind always think about it synchronicity is wonderful in your life.

5. Play, Rest and Fun
Most inventors often find solutions to problems when they see playing, on vacation or resting, this is because the power of the mind is subconsciously activated when you carry out any of these activities.

6. Select what you let in
You are what you eat (John Norman 2002) Therefore your mind is what you feed it. If you feed your mind with the wrong things, it will be so toxic that unlearning will be hard. Little wonder why the wise King Solomon admonishes "More than all, safeguard your heart(Mind) for out of it is the source of your life."

The mind needs to be safeguarded, because it's really the source of your living and success in your life.

I agree so much with the travel as one of the ways to harness one's mind... I've experienced the benefits before, it's just one of the things I don't often do which I wish to do more.

Resting helps the mind indeed, I do that a lot except on days when there is too much to do.

But the part of selecting what goes into the mind, I find it near impossible to do but I know it depends on my discipline level... I've got to be more disciplined to control my mind about the things it lets in.

This was a really educative post, I enjoyed reading through.

The mind is not something to really joke with about because a lot is been surrounded with it to solve and analysis issues of what is going on that needs patience in utilizing it.

Yes, it's the sources of your life that is why King Solomon ask us to safeguard it.

My mind power is taking life as it comes and staying strong to my hart and family . Till now that made I have a great life and the ups and downs I can handle becaus with am not alone

Wow...you see,every thought is permitted to fly into our mind but not all thought is permitted to stay in our mind otherwise some negative thought we conceived might affect our success in life.
