Introduction
My general views on curation rewards (to score highly in League 1) are:
Vote before the big hitters, but not too early!
Voting in the first minute will earn you a curation reward of almost 0.000
Voting between 1 and 29 minutes will earn an increasing % of the curation rewards split, this value peaking at 30 minutes and remaining the same from this point onwards
It is commonly suggested that 15-25 minutes is the 'best' time to vote (especially on known 'power author' posts because they are likely to have more auto-votes coming in at these times - and you want to be ahead of these votes)
Voting on good dtube content and utopian-io approved contributions (prior to the vote by @dtube / @utopian-io ) can earn some very good curation rewards
Voting on @ocd posts is likely to gain good curation rewards as founder @acidyo, and @anomadsoul support these posts after giving time for other accounts to vote - you will be in front of a couple of large votes here!
As you can see, a combination of many variables such as Steem Power, voting strength, voting weight, time of vote, (and more) all play a part in the amount of rewards received.
My general opinion on maximizing engagement (to score highly in League 2) is:
Spread your vote and write lots of engaging comments!
Use your vote on comments (and not yourself) to make yourself seen and provoke a reply
The data for league 1
The raw data has been collected from SteemSQL - @arcange's MS SQL Server copy of the Steem Blockchain.
The formula used for 'quality of financial curation skill' is:
Curation Rewards DIVIDED BY Steem Power MULTIPLIED BY 1000
This will return the amount of Curation rewards gained per 1000 Steem Power held
The rules (which will cause auto-filtering of your account if not met so just enter anyway and see what happens!) to appear in this league:
No programmed voting! Following a trail is OK, using a script to vote for you is not (but well done if you have done that!)
Must have voted at least once on a piece of content in the past 7 days
Must not have leased or delegated Steem Power in the last 14 days
Must not have Started a Power Down (withdrawal of Steem Power) in the last 15 days
The 2nd and 3rd points above are not bad things, but are required to reduce distortion of the figures.
And, as curation rewards for the past week are actually taken from votes made up to 14 days ago, we need a 15 day window as mentioned above.
Don't let this put you off entering though - you will be automatically be excluded/appear depending on the criteria above.

The end column is what I think is a genuine indicator of how well you are financially working the curation game with the tools, including vested Steem Power, that you have at your disposal.

This the newer league which is not based around rewards and relates to engagement.
Everyone currently on my master list has a chance here - delegation dealings or not.
I've used some metrics (which is the fancy way of saying that made up some numbers) relating to:
- Posts (P)
- Comments - number of (C)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (C R) (new this week)
- Comments - length in characters (C L)
- Witness votes (W) (for those proxying witness votes, your total is always 30)
- Upvotes to others (V)
- Upvotes to different authors (U V)
- Self-votes - a small minus score for this one sorry! (S V)

The reasoning behind the 25th place is that my sons were born on the 25th!
The reason that I’m doing this is to support the league Asher is organizing and because I can understand that not everybody has so much time to end up in the top10! It’s crazy out there!

Indeed, the wallets had a lot of problems the last 2 days. That's the reason your post was later than normal!
If you are willing to make these transactions using a third party website, I would suggedt steemthat.com developed and maintained by @binkley and his team with an option called "Direct Message" and it's a reliable one with login using steemconnect and transfer can be made within seconds to 100's of members, but only drawback for you is, sending different message to each user (like Asher's League of excellence - second, Asher's League of excellence - third etc..)
Except that, it will be a useful one, I used that when I use to conduct giveaways during my initial days on steemit.

Hey @coolguy123, I was just browsing this post and saw your familiar face and thought I'd say "hello"... I hope everything is going good and btw, the @friendsofgondor made a new high so the upvotes you are helping to provide should get better and better! Also #newbieresteemday is going well too, the ABC's of Curation are keeping busy and I've noticed a big pickup by @beeyou and others lately!

Hi! I've been following these for a while now and would like to participate!!
However, do you think this contest (and the whole curation system) promotes voting for whales? I feel this is very counter-intuitive for adoption as we need upvotes for minnows for them to retain interest in this platform...
I think the only way to change this is blockchain level changes, what do you guys think?
I can confidently state it is the opposite.
The best curation rewards are gained by curating low valued posts which may only need to reach 5-10$. If you are there at 0.20$ and the post reaches 50x this value, you will get a decent reward.
If you join in on a post at $10 which goes to $200, you will receive a much smaller reward.
I'm sure others could support this with their findings.

If that's so then couldn't people just camp the wallets of promo bots and upvote everything that has a large upvote incoming?

And yep, that is a successful approach to take if you wish to upvote kak and win 1 STEEM for it :D :D
Nice! I'm probably not going to try purposely win anything, but it's nice to see some of my stats if I get into top 20%! Plus, may as well have a chance of winning something if I'm just doing what I'm normally doing anyway!

I actually took a couple days to spend more time with Brian and then yesterday, which is normally my day to go hard in the home stretch, my computer decided to die on me! We spent the better part of the day resurrecting it, and then the evening trying to replace all the lost files. So be it. It's the beginning of another week, and my head already feels a little too light for my liking haha

You might be joking about the crown weighing on you, but when I found out I was wearing it for the week, it was weird—like I was the usurper or something. I definitely feel a responsibility (even though I'm even sure what that responsibility is).
Regardless, you still had over 170 more comments than me, even in a down week! People keep saying they saw me everywhere, but you're everywhere is still much larger than my everywhere, apparently.
So, anyway, I hope that the laptop is fixed and that you can spend as much time as you normally do on Steemit this week. However, Brian is much more important, so please do what you have to do (you don't need me to tell you that). I'm hopeful, though, that he will have a good week, too. :)

I'm glad t's lifted a burden for at least a week. If you do take it back, it will be your doing, though. :) I think it's a great idea to just do what we do and see what happens. Haven't read all the comments, but did you ask @abh12345 about your ranking? He does say in his post to let him know if you have a concern about your placing, or lack thereof. I know I would like to see you being ranked where you should be if something is off. That's not fun, to be doing all the work and then not showing up.
I do know that there is a combination of things going on here. Even with the CL, I needed to bump up another 120 comments from the week before just to move up from No. 3 to No. 1. So, comments, upvotes, CL, all of it is somehow calculated. But how, and with what weight, only Asher knows. :)

hello there, yes i did last week when i saw i fell so much and now i'm thinking one aspect is that i do upvote myself everytime i write a post, which is at least 2 a day. then some of my comments are not very long at all, maybe a sentence at most. so these may be some factors.
yes it is no fun to see that i do comment a lot and more than most but ho hum, i'm losing heart.
yes i am def commenting and upvoting a lot, everyday down to 85%. yes "only Asher knows." ahahahahahahahh
he will look but he already looked it over and knows my plight. heee heee

Okay, good. I'm glad he's aware of it and you also have something to go on. Still frustrating, though. :)
Your answer to me was longer than a short sentence, so several more of those and you're name will be up there with everyone else.
Not knowing how much the self-votes are weighted, I can't really say if it's hurting you a lot or not. The ones here who are up on the list, especially the one or two in the teens don't seem to be too affected by it, though, so who knows.
Good luck, though. I'd hate to see you give up over this, when it's here to encourage all of us to do better and expand our reach and influence on Steemit.
see, you did all that typing in what 1 minute? this is why/if you are close to the top you are hitting high numbers. it has to be the amount of writing. meanwhile, i'm trying to get out another post of 2k words. i tend to try to write stories or develop characters instead of all day of comments. that could be my downfall. LOL
yes it is very frustrating but nothing i can do since we have the Asher Factor. only he knows the formula and i do get points taken off for upvoting my own posts.
i know that from the note above the list as well as from his own words. shrugs.

Sorry, I'm late. I'm in catch up mode now.
I haven't forgotten about your invitation. I might think on it a little longer, though. Just seeing what it took this last week to get to the top of the heap, I'm not sure what more I'm ready or able to do yet. What I do know is, I can't keep the hours I've been keeping forever, so either that means I get superfast at all of this posting, commenting and upvoting/curating, or I will just have to scale back.
I know I'd rather add things to do then subtract, so we'll see how it goes.
As for most of the people in the top 10 this week, I think most everyone had something else going on. So, if I'm winning in a down week for many people, I don't know that I've actually proven much yet. @lynncoyle1 doesn't have a laptop meltdown, she's still on top, even with the other time she took off. I don't see how I keep up with her in a normal week. I guess we'll find out. My saving grace in this competition so far has been I'm longwinded. :)
And you are hahha some of your comments are posts of other people but I'd rather see that and it adds so much value to the conversation.
I'm going to increase the speed in replying to all my comments in my post so I can go out more haha.

Was there a formal ceremony for this? I guess I missed it. I just woke up and there was the crown. Maybe @lynncoyle1 airmailed it from Playa! At least, I'd hate to think she just dropped it off without saying hi. It's a long flight from Oregon to the Cancun area, though, so I'm sure she needed to get back as fast as she could.
Actually, you're right, she's been very gracious, and as far as I'm concerned, it's still hers. I'm just babysitting it for a week. Maybe. :)

I know you're commenting to Ash, but since you mentioned me, I just thought I'd say I don't know how much I deserve it, but I'm looking forward to seeing which one of us (you, me, and whoever else really wants it) will end up with it after this week.
It's been a fun and fulfilling experience so far. As I've said, though, I hope everything goes well with your computer and Brian this week because while I ran as fast as I think I could've last week, you and others weren't able to because of one thing or another. So, I'd love to see what this looks like when everyone has the time to do what they normally do.

I appreciate that. I am happy with the points I scored last week. It was a definite improvement over the week before and it will even harder to do better this week, but that's what I'm trying for. If I'm going to lose, I want to go out trying to do the best I can.

For a brief moment there, seeing a fourth place, I had the urge to compete to get back into the top three but I don't want that sort of pressure or focus. It doesn't make me a happy bunny. So, next week, will be more of the same for me.

I'm glad to see you finish higher than you expected too. It just shows how much engagement and work and time you are putting in, even with time off. And that's done you some good, too, so win-win all around.
I'm still not sure how you and @lynncoyle1 and @leeart and others are able to make so many comments, but I'm going to try to get up closer to those numbers this week. You all set a very high standard to try to maintain just in the natural course of your being here and doing what you do.
If I had any small part in getting you into the top 4, I'm happy. You brought me up just as much, though, so maybe that's the way things are supposed to work. We help each other to bring up our engagement.
I know how you feel about the focus being on you when you're in the top 3. I don't know if I'm feeling it quite yet because I'm still new to this and not everyone knows me, but we'll see how this week goes at No. 1 and whether or not I can keep that spot.
Oh no. I didn't mean I felt the focus was on me when I was in the top three. I meant it just feeds into my competitive streak and suddenly winning becomes more important than how much I'm enjoying the process.
I catch it very quickly because, nowadays, I know that the process if all as far as I'm concerned. Fundamentally, I don't care how much I'm earning or what number I am but it is very, very easy for me to forget that and get triggered into competition or comparing myself with others.
That's an important part of my journey here both in the League and on Steemit. To see that faster and faster and to choose a different path.
My feeling of wanting to get back into the top three was very brief and passed quickly. That for me is a huge "win"!
I'm not saying I will never compete for the top spot but I don't want to feel compelled to do so. If it's fun that's fine. It's when it starts to feel important that it's a problem. 😁

You are right, and having a competitive streak is something I need to curb, too. It used to be a lot worse, but I see it rearing its ugly head in me now and then. Doing the best I can is important to me, but learning to accept my limits is necessary, too. When both happen, I think I'm in good shape.
This does need to be fun and fulfilling and not feel like a chore, so hopefully we can all find that balance.
Well for those of us that need to, I think the League is the perfect environment to learn how to find balance @glenalbrethsen. And just think how marvellous that will be when we take this into the rest of our life too!

I guess I will have to shorten the time I'm on Steemit in order to carry anything I learn from it into the real world then. :) My wife hasn't been happy that she's competing for my time when she's not had that much herself. So, there's more balance to be had all over my world. :)
It's good you recognise that @glenalbrethsen. As long as you're aware you can work your way to balance. So many of us are having to learn that here. Even the great @abh12345! 😁

Yep I'm the same! I guess like most things, we figure out more and more, the longer we're involved. We also figure out what exactly it is that deserves our time :)

It's a lot of work, that's for sure, and more than that, a lot of time involved. I need to get faster if I'm going to end up with the number of comments you, @lynncoyle1 and @gillianpearce have been making, even in an off week!
It's good to have purpose, though, beyond just being here and doing your own thing. I think I've benefited any many ways just by participating in this. My focus has turned way outward from where it was and that's made it much more fulfilling and satisfying.
I still need to say congratulations, by the way! So, congratulations for another top finish. As you said, last week, I think, we just keep doing what we're doing and see how it shakes out.
I'm glad you're feeling the benefits of participating in this @glenalbrethsen because I seem to recall you were questioning a bit your presence here. I think that was the first time I came across you! 😊
It's kind of amazing, actually. I think I still question my presence here, but I've also found something larger than myself now, that has greater benefit beyond what I benefit from it. And since it falls into what I wanted to do here, anyway, that's the best part. I wasn't just doing it on my own. I needed to push more, and I wasn't going to do it on my own, because I didn't know what it would take. You and others are showing me what it takes. :)

I still question my presence here but try and take it one day at a time. 😁
Ultimately, I want to write and then engage over my writing, but just like anywhere else around the Internet, people need to know you exist, let alone like what you write, and so that typically means going out to meet them once you know they're there, and engaging over things they post or like first.
It's what I want to do, it's just not what I'm naturally inclined to do, so this engagement league is helpful in getting me out there.
In addition to that, I keep running into lovely people who do actually want to engage back. People who I can have honest, meaningful discussions with. I think that's good for me, hopefully good for them, good for Steemit, and ultimately, our society as a whole, if there's at least a portion of us keeping communication alive.
And if anything like an abiding friendship springs out of it, all the better. I think that's possible, too. Three months in, it's hard to call anything a longstanding anything, let alone friendship, but I'd like to be here for the long haul to see what happens with that too, as long as there's a long haul to be had. :)
It could be taxing if you think about it. I wonder if we could have this much of a discussion and interaction if there is no prize haha!
That's a hard call, isn't it? I mean, I don't want to slight this league or the people involved and participating, because it's amazing as it is, but the amount of STEEM available for prizes can't be the only reason people are here and interacting. So, I think there would still be some interacting, because it's fun and because it helps people keep going and it eventually helps reset Steemit.
The prizes though do help, and so I think it's a combination of providing just enough incentive at this point to get the ones who are mostly inclined already to participate.
It's mostly the interacting part that keeps me going here. That's why I comment on a lot to others to start conversations. Even if I would not make it, I would still continue doing so and keep referring others here to hopefully keep the socializing alive if they are encouraged by to join this contest.

Lately, not so much. Engaging is exhausting work and real life continues to be busy. I truly am amazed my team made it up there for so long. To be honest, they haven’t been engaging much either so it’s only me on here and typing, even reading nowadays is time-consuming. I thought my days of writing would be over when I finished college then I stumbled upon Steemit!

Have you ever used talk to text? Or programs to read to you? I type very little of my Replies. They don't always come out a hundred percent. But I really do try to check them most of the time. 😁 If I had to type everything, I'd have to stop right now. Because truthfully I'm already starting to have a hard time keeping up. I can see it coming to a point in the future where I may have to limit talking with people who are established here too much. Only because I want to be able to focus as much attention as possible on people who have been here less than a month. Anyway I have to go. Sorry to cut it short. 😟 I wish you a good night.

You're where I was in point total last week. I know, I'm longer winded than most, and I do hope that I'm saying something. Nothing worse than someone rambling on.
I do hope, as I've been commenting down the post as I catch up here, that everyone can put in the time they normally can and want to this week. I don't know who anyone else would feel, but if the only reason I'm No. 1 this week is because everyone had to take time off for one reason or another, I'd rather not be No. 1.
I'm thankful for it, but it would be cooler if there wasn't such a big gap and we were all within say a thousand points of one another from No. 10 to No. 1. And I think there would be a greater benefit to the platform, too.
However, life and everything else is more important than finishing high, so everyone needs to do what they have to do.
I already said congratulations on another comment before I saw this one, but congratulations again, and thank you for the kind words. I'll probably congratulate you again once I get around to actually commenting on this post. :)

Finally found some time to write down a decent reply to the results. I did my absolute best to come on top of the engagement league but sometimes doing your best isn't just good enough. But no harm done, because I the last week I discover some really good authors and Steemians and that is what it is all about. Getting to know people, interacting which each other, spices up with a little competition.
@glenalbrethsen I knew that I was way behind. I just ran out of words during our interactions. This isn't something which happens a lot! Great achievement!

I roam around a lot lol! I try to engage to new people as much as possible, more like forcing myself to have something to talk about what that person posted. However, I do not get that much replies or a reply that will further the interaction. I am having no luck finding new good authors. I hope there will be this time around.
Because it is so difficult to find new good authors, we should spread the word when we did discover one. I do present each Thursday, 3 of the people am I following with my followers. It is up to them to decide if it is interesting to them or not!
I mention this contest to new and old ones and also in some of my blogs and future blogs. I want more and more people to join and be encouraged with being interactive. I keep mentioning that it is in through commenting that I get more than what I get from blogs most of the time.

I know exactly how you feel @fullcoverbetting. The previous week I thought I'd done all I could to get to No. 1 and it wasn't enough. That meant I had to do even more to move up two spots. And now, I'm learning I'm going to need to do even more just to keep the No. 1 spot, if not stay within the top 3, 5, and 10.
If the height of the mountain keeps changing, at some point you run out of air. :)
Still, you had more comments than me. So, if you can get the CL up and maintain or improve on the comment numbers, you'll go right past everyone!
It's not often someone says they run out of words with me. I guess I have a higher word allotment in written form than I do speaking. There, my wife runs circles around me. Big circles. Crop circle sized circles. :)
Oh, and that's majorly cool what you're doing with sponsoring the No. 25 position. As others have been saying, that's a very cool concept and I'm sure it will keep more folks interested in competing each week and finding ways to further engage.

Due to the fierce battle at the top and because I don know that not all people could spend the same time on Steem, I did find it appropriate to give something back to the community. The league of Asher did give me so much, so why not to return a small favor to keep people motivated!
Time available was definitely my saving grace here last week. I know not everyone has the same amount of time (and I doubt I can maintain it that much longer), so that means we do the best we can and try to improve in some way each week.
You're right. It has not been a waste of my time, regardless of my place on the chart. I need to get better at seeking out others though. It's the hardest to to do. You have to find them, or figure out where the ones you feel like you can converse with are at. I want to keep expanding that contact circle, though, even if the follower base is proportional. It feels good just to pop on someone's post and say something meaningful. Well, meaningful to me at least. :)
It's great to give back. I've been trying to do that mainly through upvotes, but at some point, I should probably figure out someway to follow your example.

Well, as I was telling @gillianpearce, and need to tell @lynncoyle1, you all have helped me get my engagement numbers up where it needs to be, so thank you. Not only with you folks, but with others that I probably wouldn't meet otherwise, like everyone here who is a part of these leagues.
Winning is one thing. Continuing to win, I think, is going to be another. We'll see how that goes.
As it is, one week does not undo a dynasty, so I'm fully expecting to see @lynncoyle1 upping her game as much as she can. And as I've been reading, there's been a couple others throwing down the gauntlet or promising to redouble their efforts. That's good, I think, within the time everyone has to dedicate to this. It's good to try to improve.
It can be a long, lonely dusty trail, dude. So, I'm glad to be able to share the ride with you. Hi @bashadow. It looks like you and I both got kicked out of the top ranking. The top ten spot is definitely hard to be in, especially with all these new engagers. Look at their character count! I will shoot to being in league 2, but probably not in the top ten spot anymore. No way can I compete with everyone. Look at Dave! He is barely holding on and he was one of the prolific commenter.

I just know I put in a lot of time to get up here and I know not everyone hast that kind of time. I don't know how much longer I will have the time myself, so either I get faster or I'll fall out with a mighty thud.
I'm not doubting that someone will take it away from me, @lynncoyle1 or anyone else. You and others all had other pressing matters so it's hard to judge just what I did this week.
My intent, though, is to either keep the No. 1 spot, or hand it over to whoever had the better week.
I'm behind as it is right now, so we'll see how it all pans out. :)

If you doubled everything I did last week you'd be just about there. Bear in mind I was away for four days of it and had the grandchildren one day. And I was pretty casual about it.
You already have double the CL which I think is the hardest to do and, I think, earns you the most rewards.

as always admiring your work, I've been participating for 4 weeks now and I still can't be in the picture, even though every week I put a little more to achieve it, being in the picture is a big challenge, but belonging to this league I'm driven to meet many people and expand my friendships, is decor that even without winning I win! congratulations to the winners, and I'm still here supporting this great challenge from my favorite statesman.
When we put a little more, everybody seems to be putting a little more too. That just makes the competition tougher.
But you did it, I'll have to learn from those who know, my real life has left me very little time to be here, so it gets more complicated, but well we're going to improve the techniques and put a lot of commitment, that's the goal.
I think what happened with me is that right after the results are in I have had time here so I maximized my time. And then a few days before the contest ended I also had enough time to engage and interact. In between those I did not do very well. I was thankful that I made it to top three.
However, veteran players are in and this is going to be a battle of the keyboards haha!
I know the winning desire is there but it's best to just put the fun factor in more than the competition side since you have lots of going on in life other than steeming. That way stress is minimized if not totally avoided.
this league has been exciting and rewarding for me, only on sundays i say again i didn't show up, hehehe but it doesn't matter if someday i will reach such a precious first place or at least the first 10, only that now it is so difficult to be connected, my work doesn't allow it, besides i spend a lot of time in discord helping my friends in venezuela, but here we go, to clean keyboard

I know this looks a bit like A strange question. But I figured it might be a good thing to welcome new users in such a way.
Well its a selfless thing to do, as it will unlikely gain you much in curation, and perhaps not that much in engagement as these posts are generally swamped with garbage.
I would suggest finding comments you have something to respond with, and replying to these with an upvote - if you are going for engagement.
You might be right about the fact that they are in general pretty uninteresting to read. Cause I already read a few....
I was trying to come up with some kind of idea to support and encourage new users. As lots of them seem to quit Steemit very quickly.
I think I have to think a bit longer about such an idea. Also because there are already done bots doing a similar thing.
I do find rewarding a good introduction post not a bad idea, but it could be a poisoned gift! It will increase the believe in the fact that Steemit is indeed a quick rich scheme!
The next 5 to 10 posts, will probably get a payout of around 0, which will crush the motivation and lots of them then decide to leave the steem blockchain!
Then I should also write some kind of encouraging comment. In which I explain they need to have some patience.
Btw, did you read all comments on Ashers post?
First week in the leagues and I'm not on the bottom of the tables. That in itself is something I'll count as a victory.

Always interesting what the data shows. Quite a few of us seem to be keeping to our own social bubbles at least as voting is concerned. I know I don’t get out of my own bubble enough myself. With quite a number of accounts I’m following dropping like fly’s that does tend to be an issue over long run.
Just something I need go out and rebuild up again.

Oh, poor Pete. As much cheating that goes on in baseball and other sports, I don't know. I think the guy has done his time. Maybe now that Selig has been gone for a few years, maybe Pete gets in. I hope they don't deny him while he's alive just to do it posthumously. He was the epitome of the working man's player and despite the gambling, I feel he deserves better.

I knew this day would come sooner or later. If you don't mind Asher, I think I will enjoy some time off the spotlight for a while. Spring is here, the cherry blossoms are blooming, and I might take it upon myself to learn photography. It was my interest to learn something of photography when I came on steemit, but I think I got side tracked along the way. I have to blame it on Dave for approaching me with the Newbie Resteem initiative!
Thanks again for compiling this weekly list. I am happy to have made it on the top for so many weeks. Especially since I (and team) were ranked 19th out of 20th when I first joined league 2. So being in the top 11th for a couple weeks is definitely a trophy win. I will graciously let the top commenters go at it from here on. :)

I see that comments outside our own posts has been replaced by the depth of comments. Both of them are useful. In early versions of Steemit, author rewards were greater when comments when above 6 levels deep. It did encourage more back and forth discussion, and developing deeper connections with each other.
Question: Is it still correct that we will be filtered out of your analysis if we delegate SP within the last 14 days? I see so many projects deserving of delegation. But I've held off because I want to see my numbers here. Yes, I know that's not a good enough reason for not delegating, but I sure like seeing my numbers here. It's a real incentive to engage better.

I would like to join the leagues @abh12345, although I am probably too tiny to make much of a difference at this point. However, the name Curator Cat is not a joke and is reflective of a desire to both add something of value to people — even if frivolous — and to reward those here who add things of value.
It's sad how many seem to approach Steemit as little more than just a giant cash dispenser. And even sadder how many people support that approach with their votes, and even their indifference.

I figured since I decreed we should all go get our favorite Mexican food to eat to celebrate our individual rankings that I should also do it myself.

In decreeing this, I was really hoping my wife would be available to cook on her days off, but that's not going to happen until Sunday, which would be next week. So, instead, I broke down and bought some Mexican food at what I consider to be the best all around Mexican restaurant nearest to me.
Here's what I ate:
The House Special Burrito, looking a little sad because it took me a while to get home so I could eat it. :)
This is called the House Special Burrito. I had them make mine with shredded beef, and it comes with rice and beans and salsa on the inside with sour cream and guacamole draping the outside.
It was very tasty, just like I remembered it. The only thing I didn't remember was feeling so full after eating it.
I also got orchata, or a rice milk drink with cinnamon. It was also good. :)
So far, we have @leeart who showed the Nachos she ate, and me. Still waiting to see what the rest of you come up with. No pressure though. It's just for fun if you can. :)
