Ingredients
Four dough
3 Cups Strong White Bread Flour
1/3 cup olive oil
1 Sachet of Yeast
3/4 cup of lukewarm water
Pinch of Salt
For the Tomato Sauce
1 Can of Tomato
1/4 Onion
1 Garlic clove
Basil
Olive oil
Method
Dough
1.Pour your 3 cups of flour into a bowl with the yeast and mix.
2.Add the olive oil and begin kneading.
3.Then slowly add in the lukewarm water, knead until it becomes a soft and springy dough.
4.Cover the bowl with a damp cloth or cling film and place in a warm room for about an hour until the dough has doubled in size.
Method for Sauce
While you are waiting for you dough to rise cook your tomato sauce.
- Cook the onion (Cut the onion very small and thinly) and garlic with a little olive oil.
2.Once the onion has soften add the can of tomato and season with basil. - Let it cool down
It Is Time To Add your Toppings
Once your dough has risen, roll it out. Pour your tomato sauce, add your cheese (I used mozzarella and cheddar cheese), ham, salami, peppers, basil.
Cook for 20-25 minutes on Gas Mark 7
