Since ive been to Japan, Ramen became my favorite dish. Its a soup mixed with a meal.
I have been trying for many months to get perfect taste and currently when i have 20hours+ i make Ramen at home which is pretty decent and not super far from Tokyo ones ive tried.
Of course cant be compared but its really good and loads of people enjoyed its taste.
Some pictures of my productions below.
I have made better dishes than those but at this moments cant find pics :)
Looks delicious!
I agree Ramen is awesome!!
Great. It's almost midnight and now I want Ramen. Dang it.
Oh yes sir..
I love these too. Lucky me, there are various options in Singapore to eat this.
Do you cook long hours with the pork bones?
yes 20 hours for tonkotsu. been to singapore but didnt eat Ramen there, i been to this shop that has Pho all the time :)) I will write review of it one day
whoa... true slow cook tonkotsu. Pho is nice but the soup cannot beat the ramen.
Wounderful :) Japanese food is really unique and healthy. I love sushi and miso soup from Japan.
Sushi and miso are superb (i could eat them all day) but Ramen is my new love since a year or so :))
The best ramen I had was in a high-end mall in China. It was totally awesome. It was one of those "choose your own sauces" kind of thing, but it still came out great.
My best was in Tokyo in Ichiran (they do Tonkotsu only), since then im cooking ramen home and reading loads about it. I have to say im pretty good now, Chashu i make perfect, broth im still experimenting. Just noodles i buy, never made them myself
Ive never been to other country apart from England however my favourite meal is noodles, that's what they are called in the UK, is that the same thing?
A great recipe I'm also a chef, I'll follow you follow me)) I also have an interesting
Until very recently I had always thought that Ramen was just a cheap microwavable noodle that college students loved to eat.. Now I know it is a wonder dish. I must find the best Ramen around!
Me too. It's my fave.
I love Ramen too! It's meant to be affordable food for workers but over here it's ridiculously priced - double / triple the price of other soup and noodles.
Nice pictures @kingsmind it makes me hungry just looking at them!
do you have any really good recommended recipes for ramen which you wouldn't mind sharing or posting?
Wow!, I love it can't wait to see other pics that you have they must be delicious because these dishes sure look mighty tasty to me..Diff have me has following you!!
Looks great. I love travel and food as well.
how does it compare to Japan's Ramen?
There are so many ramen restaurants in Japan, it is so difficult to pick ...luckily most of them are very good.
