Healthy nutrition is not just about choosing the right products and preparing them. It also requires the creation of some habits that will help you eat more properly and maintain a healthier weight.
Choosing dishes
Choose smaller plates when eating. This will create an illusion of larger portions and there is not so much risk of going over the quantities.
Fruits and vegetables
Imagine your plate is divided into two parts. To eat healthier, half of it should be filled with fruit and vegetables. If you worry that your children will not want to eat them, pick together the fruits and vegetables to prepare them for. So include in your diet enough vitamins and fiber to tone and strengthen the body. And a few calories if you do not add sauces and too much cheese to vegetables, or sugar and cream for example.
Proteins and whole grains
The other half of your plate is filled with proteins - such as meat (but not fat), fish, beans, and whole grains - brown rice, bread, cinema. They have a high nutritional value, and the fibers in whole grains will satiate you better.
A lot of water
In your daily menu, surely the water has to be present. It is important to drink at least 2 liters a day to make your body feel good and hydrated. It is not said to drink too much water during meals. But set your goal within the day to get enough to make yourself feel good.
Do not hurry
Part of a healthy diet is not to stumble with food, to eat slowly and calmly. Even if you say that you do not have much time, do not cause such stress on your body. Sooner or later this will be reflected in various health problems. Diet calmly and without stress. The job will not escape.

You have some good information shared in this post. Especially about the water importance and taking your time to ear and chew. It is incredibly important to hydrate properly and chew our food before digesting it. It takes the pressure from the stomach and our body digest food much faster.

Nice info @suggeelson another tips from me, chew your food for about 30 times. It's make your food become more smooth or tender and it's easy to digest with your intestine and get more nutritions :)
