SNAX is a blockchain with its own crypto (like STEEM), that allows you to earn SNAX through tweets and the posts you make on STEEM. So, basically, as you make STEEM, you also make SNAX. So far, SNAX aren't worth anything, but dragosroua is a SNAX block producer (as well as a lower level witness for STEEM), and he seems to like the idea quite a bit (he's been running a 30-day writing contest about it).
So, just another way to tokenize what you're already doing, and with any luck, SNAX will eventually be traded somewhere and start gaining value, just like any crypto manages to do.

No. The posts don't show up on SNAX, at least not for now. Basically, you need to go to the snax.one website and connect your STEEM account to it. There's a place to signup, and then it will tell you how to connect the account. You'll do that by copying and pasting some words and codes that SNAX gives you. You've probably seen those posts around a week or so ago on STEEM. After that's done, you should have a verification page on SNAX where you see your icon next to the STEEM logo.
There's a Snax extension for Chrome that you can use to sign in with. Can't remember now if that was part of the process or not, and I'm not sure if it's available on other browsers if you're using something other than Chrome.
At any rate, it's not a super difficult thing to do, but it's a little different than what we're used to, I think.
After it's all done, though, you are rewarded in SNAX based on something they call attention rate, which ranks you based on resteems, upvotes and comments per post (and they generally look at a range of posts at one time). Based on where the posts rank compared to others, they issue the SNAX.

As far as I know, it shouldn't matter from what frontend you paste it in. It just needs to show up on STEEM.
Ok thank you sir Glen. How's it going with all those projects around the house? Did you guys get the fence repaired and the gutters cleaned out and some other things done I can't remember all of them.
Fence hasn't been upgraded yet, but it's still functioning as it was. haven't had too many boards falling off like in past years. :) Gutters got cleaned a while ago. One bed got tilled and planted with some vegetables, the other got half of it planted with something else before I could till it.
New bark got put down (there's still a couple of bags to do. So, some things have been accomplished, and there's still others to do.
