Keep on keeping on. 😇
ResteemedExcellent info-post. I still don't get it - freewrite - it seems to be for those with some difficulty in getting their piece on paper / post. But never having had a difficulty with speaking or writing, I find if an idea needs a moment to gel, I just look at a picture or window, and talk to a tree or saint or whoever is depicted in the pix. Saying the words aloud can help tremendously also, if one is writing for speech. Many things don't gel with me, as I was schooled over fifty years ago, and some of the new methods (like computers 😂 ) are a real puzzle. But there is in above post a link to what is meant by freewrite @mariannewest

Simon, freewrite is an exercise many writers use. You get a prompt and write. No thinking. allowing the subconscious to take over. No right or wrong. In our case, it has developed into a community and everyone approaches it differently. some do the 5 minutes and stop, others use the 5 minutes as a beginning and keep writing if a story develops. Others take their original 5-minute piece and carefully craft it into a story.
We believe in freedom and applaud all.
The important part is to write as often as you can - maybe daily - and to support each other by reading, commenting and voting, if we can, each other's pieces.
And I see that you now know what a link is LOL
Lazy is only bad if you make it so :)
No such thing as lazy, man. I'm efficient. I know what I don't know. Thank you all the same. I started with my own first computer last December. How much did you know after your first five months of school with nil lessons, Hmm¿
