Honestly, I'm cold. So, I'm going to rap off whatever comes to mind and hope that it doesn't end up in my fatality.
I've come across a great new book that has been showing me how to improve my write by like ten fold. "Writing the Natural Way" is the book. Fabulous.
For the past couple of days, I've been clustering before I begin the freewrite. It helps to organize my brain and gives me things to write about without me having to force things to make them happen. Although, I have to say, it does feel good to just rap at the moment.
Perhaps I'm being a little lazy, but it is cold out here in the open air with the wind blowing on me. I've got no home to be comforted by. I do have a tent that has a nice feather-down sleeping bag waiting for me.
My shoes have thin souls. This is causing me to get colder quicker. I could possible take care of this issue by getting some cayenne pepper. Sprinkling a little on the feet will cause them to get very warm. Be careful how much you use if you try this. The heat will be very, very intense if you put on a generous amount. You've been warned. haha!!!
p.s. I'm almost up to two-hundred words every five minutes when I flow. Very neat!

Steem Monsters Common Card Fantasy Story Contest! - Coming out roughly every week. If you enjoy card games like Magic, Yugio, and others like it, you might like this game. Write a fictional tale about the card they present in the contest and your entry just might be the one they choose to showcase.
Tell A Story To Me, And Win 5 SBD! Writing Contest - Kind of random when it comes out but don't worry. You will have two weeks to complete your work of art from the given prompt. Have fun!
Haiku - These are coming out every couple days or so. If you stuggle with rhymes, no worries. Haikus don't have to rhyme. All you need to make a haiku is five syllable on the first, seven syllables in the second line, and again back to five syllable for the last line. So easy it makes me think I'm being super product. LOL
Mizu No Oto - Every Image Has Its Haiku Contest - By reading the title, you should be able to guess how this haiku contest works. You're given an image and you write. I've really enjoy this contest because there are people here who've actually gone to classes to learn how to write haiku's; so if you want, you also can learn how to write quality haikus from reading the comments and critiques they and others give.
50-word Challenge - This is an interesting challenge and very challenging to say the least. You only get fifty words to tell a story or a vignettes. Here is a great post that will explain the difference between the two concepts. Here is another post explanation of what a story is. Good luck, Brave Story Writer!
Vocab-Ability 1x1 - What happens is you are given a list of roots and the words they can be found in. You create sentence using those words and post in the comment section of the post. Your upvote for your creative work will come soon. One of the best way to increase your vocabulary is by doing these 10-15 minute exercises almost daily. What craziness will you create?

I hope this is fiction and that you are not really homeless. The title of the book you are reading would have sucked me in to read it too.

Nope. Not fiction. Really homeless at the moment. Have been for a few years.
I am so sorry to hear this Tristan. : ( I just can't imagine what you have been through and I will keep you in my prayers. Please stay safe and warm.
The worst time is when it rains and it has been raining here as of late. I don't have a very good tent so most of my sleeping stuff ends up getting wet. Very tough when one doesn't have friends, acquaintances, nor family to rely on.
I should be alright though. Thanks for you prayers.
Just what you need...lots of rain. I guess that is better than snow? At least you know that the freewrite family is here for you. Please let me know is there is anything I can do for you. Are there others around you that live in tents too so you can look out for each other?
I was homeless for a week in the dead of winter once, but at least I had a car for shelter.
Unless you have friends in LA, CA where I can stay at when it rains, the only other pressing thing would be a feather-down coat (they're light and warm).
When I became homeless this last time, about seven years ago by now, I was in NY while it was winter. I hightailed it out of there really quick.
You might be wondering why I've been out so long. I did have a few places to stay during the first few years, but people tend to disown you once they see you're not willing to work any old job just to have a rough over one's head. And I've got some PTSD and chronic physical pain keeping me from living life.
My focus has been on healing myself. I am working toward earning money, hence writing much more often. Maybe within this year, I'll start teaching yoga. I first must get certified. Next will be Qigong and Taijiquan when my teacher give me permission. So, things are in the works. They just aren't lucrative as of yet.
