Just wondering out loud
Could the root of the problem possibly be having a high level witness who is also a vote bot merchant?
As you know @themarkymark, this has long been a contention of mine which has been overlooked due to the work you have done for the blockchain; as well as your practical skills.
However, as it is now bringing such drama forward to the community it seems it is justified to withdraw my support for you as witness and stop following this greed and childishness on my feed and to, instead, focus on a witness that will bring only benifit to the blockchain with their efforts instead of promoting such a wedge issue as voting bots.
P.S. My delegation has also been withdrawn from @friendsofgondor as well.
Thank you for your attention.Apologies in advance for the spam. This is an automated comment to reduce the voting power of @fulltimegeek, a flat earth retard who is flagging reputable users like @themadcurator, @themarkymark and myself because he's a whiny little bitch who is throwing a hissy fit. Please support these users and follow @themadcurator and @themarkymark.
These things should be brought to the public, @FulltimeGeek is a bully who hides behinds the zealots he creates via bribes (paying their bills & free delegation and so on to spread his agenda). He is the one using all his voting power across over 100 accounts to flag and going around threatening other witnesses to remove their vote.
I am just providing transparency, which is something I am known a lot for.
You may well be making valid points, @themarkymark and respect that you.stand up for your services you provide; yet the route to this particular flag war grew directly from a voting bot run by you, which embroiled you in behavior not becoming of a top witness, in my opinion.
This flag war (wait is it a flag war if I’m not flagging him, or curation projects he is part of, or third parties associated with? Probably not as that’s just him), started because I had the decency to not allow a user posting 16,000+ times a day to buy votes from my bot, something almost all bot owners would be happy to do. It also is a result of him trying to buy 400 steem worth of bid bot votes for a post that only contains a link to a third party site.
But hey, Ill be the bad guy here if it makes you feel any better. I’ll even watch as he destroys one of the best projects on steem (@themadcurator) because he is acting like a baby and flagging the shit out of it because I delegate to it selflessly. I’ll even be the bad guy while he goes around threatening witnesses and users to invite me.
It’s what good guys do. We take shit for what we believe in.
Either way, I completely respect your decision, your vote is your vote and use it what you believe it. I would expect nothing less from anyone.
Can we agree that you would not have been involved in this drama but for your vote bot business?
I wouldn't be involved if I wasn't born either. Probably my dad's fault this all happened, luckily he left before I was born.
Sorry to hear about your Dad this way... yet point taken. Let's agree to disagree then.
You hate bid bots, me not running one is worse for you. Why? Because it would be another user running one that doesn't care about spam/plagarism/fraud (which 98% of bid bots don't).
If I stop running one, they don't go away or become less, someone else does it without any care to what it votes.
Do I prefer a community where they are not needed and people voted based on quality? Yes, but let's be real, this place isn't it.
