how cool would it be if, part of the game were, sometimes when you were "attacked," (your brains get eaten--im an old school zomie lover), then you yourself "turn into a zombie!" You know, like in pretty much any zombie movie.. You don't just Die! You become the Living Dead!!!!
My response:
I'm all for tweaking things to make them better!
So what you are proposing is that instead of dying and being out of the game, the dead re-animate and become zombies that chase the living to the objective? Whoa!! That would make the game a whole lot more fun for those who get killed, but one heck of a lot harder for those still alive. I wonder what the others would think about that?
By introducing the treasure chests that hold axes, players could end up with too much power (perhaps drop the idea of breaking your bat on failure to open the chests and simply allow players to get the axe every time?) Then get chased by undead players (who lose a turn or 2 before coming back to un-life) as well as the regular zombies! Would this make the game more fun for everyone?
We are now 1 hour ahead of what we were on Friday in this country, so my updates will be an hour earlier than before. (I really wish they would STOP adjusting the clocks and simply have people alter their work hours instead. I can't see the benefit of changing the time twice per year.)
Objective: STAY ALIVE long enough to reach the X in the North-West corner before anyone else does!

Zombie Turn after the players made their moves:
A Runner attacks P1 & P10, rolls 1 = fail. Nobody takes the hit!
Spawning
Each time a player moves into an un-charted space (blacked out), new zombies spawn based on dice rolls.
6 spawns a Hulk, 5 spawns a runner, 4 spawns a walker and 3, 2 or 1 spawns nothing.

Player 11, Move North
Player 11 (5th)
Move North in the clear.
Sweet! Another Steem game. Finally the gaming community has a few games to actually play and choose from.
Too bad the website is shy about explaining how the game actually works. I couldn't understand a thing by reading the rules. Planets, moons and space ships? Where, how, why, what? Too many questions left unanswered.
It is kind of tedious at first, but it is basically a strategy game where you collect resources and build spaceships to battle other players... join our alliance, it is called Logic Force, there is an ingame chat for alliance members only, we can answer your questions there
How much time per day is needed to be an effective player?
Some of the actions in this game can take hours as you progress in the game, like attacking others or upgrading/building stuff... so you wana log in at least once per day to spend your resources otherwise people may attack you to steal your resources...
How do you mine resources?
The game has 5 resources, 3 of them are mineable by building /upgrading mines. This game is based on an open source project but they just created a version for steemit called steem nova, here is the wiki for the original game, this is a list of stuff you can build in the game http://ogame.wikia.com/wiki/Dependency_Tree
Player 2 : Move one square north. @rollthedice
Player 2 (1st)
Moves North into the darkness and finds nothing.
Shake shake shake, you roll the 6-sided die.
You rolled a 2.
Phew!
While following Player 12 has been great, Rayne is playing way too close to the others for my liking... got to create some distance from those bat wielding savages.
I'm all for reanimation and treasure chests... I'd suggest making the map bigger and going back to 3 moves per turn... just so zombies have a chance to chase different people.
we're gonna end up in a 30X30 city block if we're not careful with the ruleset expansions hehe.
Couldn't follow through what you said. :p
What did you mean by playing way too close to the others ?
Hahaha, fair enough.
You've only a couple of squares away from Player 4 ... she loves to bat.
Lol. I am not going let her beat me.
She is far away from me.. And I am still unharmed. :D
But becareful. I might come after you if it seems that you will win :D
Hahaha, as the current standing champ... I have no doubt you'll wreck me if I do too well.
Player 9: Try to bash in P3's skull
Nothing personal, but it's MELEE-TIME !!!
@rollthedice
Player 9 (2nd)
Attacks P3 and connects with a smashing blow to the noggin causing the first damage point to be inflicted onto P3.
Shake shake shake, you roll the 6-sided die.
You rolled a 6.
Right in the noggin' XD
also, I kind of felt bad about ganging up on the poor fellow bleeding out in the corner ;)
if one of you guys finishes P7 off, we'll be one step closer to victory :)
Kill player 10 before the rule change of him turning into a zombie!
Otherwise I'm stuck on this tile even longer!!
I like the idea of players turning in itself, but when I apply it to this game which is essentially a race, I think it will create even more turns that you are 'locked down' and unable to compete. It basically means if you are in a square with a player, you are stuck there until you inflict 4 wounds instead of 3. As there is only melee, there will not be zombies wandering around.. Wouldn't it essentially make it so each player has 4 wounds instead of 3, with the only difference being that if you have 3 wounds you can't get to the X anymore. Other than that, the game would be the same as a zombie like it is as a player?
Player 1 (4th)
Killed off Player 10 with a roll of 6. Our first Player death!
I suspect that now people have experienced the casualties of bunching up, they may attempt to spread out more. My thinking about becoming a zombie is that once a player dies, they are out of the game and no longer have much incentive to follow along. That could make them miss the call for the next game. By becoming a zombie, they get to chase after players and possibly get some revenge on the ones that helped kill them. With just one life as a zombie, they would easily die, but come back (re-spawn) again in a turn or 2 (or back at the starting point). I'm favoring the starting point at this time so that they can come back without missing any turns. The dead players would essentially be Walkers with the same stats as a regular Walker (one-hit kill and one move each turn). I'm also open to trying how 2 actions per turn after the initial 3 actions works as suggested by P12 and bump up player life to 4 damage points. There will still be the same darkness to explore and possibly find zombies to slow you down, but if you have an axe, it will speed your kills. Until we actually play a round, it is difficult to speculate on how it plays out.
Well what if instead of instantly becoming a zombie, they are 'dead' for one turn before they come back alive?
This way after killing a player, you can run and not be locked into combat with a zombie instantly. Then the real chase begins because next turn the zombie is behind you?
That was my first thought, but in a situation like we have with 4 players in 1 space: if one dies and comes back after just 1 turn, the others are still in there battling it out and now they have a zombie in there too. When the 2nd person dies, they now have 2 zombies re-spawning in there! By re-spawning at the start point, it will take a few turns to get back to where they were bunched up and might even choose to attack someone else along the way. I just think it will open up more options and avoid the waiting period at the same time. However, if that is what players want, then I'm fine with it. I just want everyone to enjoy themselves, so I'm good with whatever consensus we come up with.
@rollthedice
Shake shake shake, you roll the 6-sided die.
You rolled a 6.
Move north please.. I will let @happyme roll the dice for me this time..
About the game, we could use 2 turns per player each round.. Except 3 turns in the first round.
Let the life of players become 4, give everyone an axe.. So, two successful attack can kill anyone.
The game right now is taking too much time fighting eachother. In the mean time, I slipped past them. They have no hope to catch me unless I am battling zombies and failing a lot to kill them.
An axe will make the zombies like kids.
Nothing is perfect. Same goes for this game too.
We will be able to improve it bit by bit after experimenting different ways of this game.
So, don't worry. As long as we work together, we will eventually be successful. :p
Thanks for the input regarding the game play. How do you feel about allowing the dead to continue to play as zombies?
Returning as zombies would be interesting to see too.. :)
Player 12 (3rd)
Moves North into the darkness and rolls a 2 to find nothing.
I would love to come back and chase others across the board as a zombie!
Okay, attack player 5! @rollthedice
Player 4 (6th)
Hits player 5 with a roll of 5. Player 5 suffers the 3rd and final blow and is now dead.
Sorry Player 5; that was not a very pleasant way to be introduced to this game. Better luck next time!
Shake shake shake, you roll the 6-sided die.
You rolled a 5.
BOOM!
Nice work! It really does sound fun to chase players around...
attack player 9
Player 6 (7th)
Attacks P9 and rolls 6 for a solid hit. P9 gets the first damage point.
The battle begins
hit p7
@rollthedice
Shake shake shake, you roll the 6-sided die.
You rolled a 2.
Player 3 (8th)
Fails to hit P7 with a roll of 2.
